If KAT is your best player your most optimistic ceiling as a team is 7-10 seed and a first round beating. Jokic is a god-level player: put Jokic with four g-league players who can do something with a basketball and you have a top 8-10 offense in the NBA that can get to the second round and take it to game 7.

If jokic is willing scorer they gonna give those scoring trophies to jokic every year.
If u seen towns operate in the post.. no way can you say town has more skills than jokic.. and jokic shooting 50-60% from 3 so far.. and he taking more than 3 a game
In terms of scoring, jokic is a better finisher, mid range shooter, post player than towns In terms of 3 pt shooting, towns is a better 3 pt shooter in the regular season but in the playoffs jokic is better 3 pt shooter than him
I mainly agree with you but towns with Jokic’s iQ is probably a top 5 player today.. I feel most people’s issue with towns is his maturity and inability to make the best basketball play.
He said KAT has a post up play on either shoulder, he can shoot one foot fadeaway 2s. My man tell that to PJ Washington who had to guard KAT last year in the playoffs😂
With Austin Rivers point that means Jokic isn’t a top 3 player in the world… because if offense isn’t the separator idk what is because towns ain’t a defender either
Towns is weakest center in the league. No IQ, no pass, no footwork, he plays on height and fade away shots. Let's create one more stupid comparison, let's say Ingram is better than KD :)
It's hilarious to listen to Austin Rivers, who was barely a yeoman player in his prime, talk about Nikola Jokic, arguably the best player in the world right now. The ignorance is mindboggling. I can't tell if this is Rivers' desperate attempt to get some attention with a "hot take" or if he is really this dumb.
Towns is underrated..... and he isn't on the same planet as Jokic. When towns retires there will be discussions if he's hall of fame worth. When Jokic retires he there will be top 10 all time arguments.
All I keep saying is is that it all depends on what position they put them in cuz they might want to be a small forward they might want him to be a powerful they might want him to be the center it all depends on what position that they put this young man in cuz he's playing all he plays them all dependent on what they call the office is that what it's called the office with the office says it ain't got nothing to do with the coaches that got to do with the team members it's what that damn office says so it to me y'all can't use no stats against this young man because it all depends on what position that they put him in
That scoring comment was crazy work, we all care about what you do in the postseason, not the regular season, until it comes to putting down jokic’s scoring. Y’all know jokic has averaged 27.7 ppg on 53-39-84 splits in the postseason for his career? And the last 4 seasons (since winning his first MVP) it’s been 30 ppg on 54-37-84 splits? The postseason is when it matters most, and when it matters most, jokic is in the “best scorer in the league” argument
How, just how can people look and compare the post seasons of said players and go with such takes? Especially people who were on the court playing with/against said players? The Big Purr has had very good games but historically on every metric, how the hell can you do such a comparison against Jokic!? Just a single question is enough to disqualify that, how are both in the clutch when the baskets matter the most? Kat sure as hell not that dude, half the time he about to foul out of the game...
Everybody has an opinion, which should be respected. My opinion of Austin is that he was a third stringer that was never going to play a minute in the NBA if it was not for his dad. His comments here show his knowledge of the game and his ability to learn even after being given multiple chances to play at a highest level.
Jokic prob has the nicest vision I've ever seen as a big man, like maybe of all time. Who else would you compare him to in that regard? Kat gets a lotta hate, but honestly he's still a tough matchup for almost anybody with his skillset...he can be a problem to play against any night.
As one of the biggest Luka fans out there, I think it’s time we officially drop his name from contention until he figures out whatever is wrong with his game. I expected him to walk into the season and pick up where he left off last season and maybe be a little better because He’s gonna see less double teams. Instead he’s taking two big steps back and now he’s hurt on top of it. Joker is still the man and there’s no good argument against it. I don’t think they’re going to give him MVP again no matter how great he plays, but there’s nobody better offensively.

Doc level iq.
Scorer LOL by his logic D Booker is better player and SG than MJ just because Booker have shoot more threes and made more of them LOL
Nepo babies, making their dads proud😅
Further proof not everyone needs a platform…. The dumdum apple didn’t fall from the Rivers tree 😂😂
And yes , the "foot on the line" guy should be a major analytics guy on sport television. Or maybe he can work for some NBA team.
Y’all notice when his dad is doing a terrible job he comes out with a wild take to remove the cameras off it dad?? Great son right there.
Great video, greetings from Serbia brother
The only thing KAT is for sure better than Jokic at is shooting, and even that is fairly close
Awesome video I agree 100% Austin Rivers has lost his mind 😂 great presentation def subscribing so I can see more 🔥
He was shook when dude said well jokic averages more then towns, had him hesitating
Why does he look like TEMU Andrew Tate
Towns is underrated..... and he isn't on the same planet as Jokic. When towns retires there will be discussions if he's hall of fame worth. When Jokic retires he there will be top 10 all time arguments.
All I keep saying is is that it all depends on what position they put them in cuz they might want to be a small forward they might want him to be a powerful they might want him to be the center it all depends on what position that they put this young man in cuz he's playing all he plays them all dependent on what they call the office is that what it's called the office with the office says it ain't got nothing to do with the coaches that got to do with the team members it's what that damn office says so it to me y'all can't use no stats against this young man because it all depends on what position that they put him in
There is a reason KAT plays off the ball and Joker has it in his hands.
Who produces the most points per game if you add in points from assists plus his own points?
I just got a sunburn from Austin Rivers' take.
And jokic's 3 point shooting is already blowing up this year
As one of the biggest Luka fans out there, I think it’s time we officially drop his name from contention until he figures out whatever is wrong with his game.
He’s related to Glenn Rivers…
