Ivy Minimal Railway 2023
#miniaturerailway
Two weeks ago it was 113 degrees in the area. We have the 7 1/2 inch gauge Maricopa Lives Steamers here in the Phoenix, Arizona, USA area. Too hot to run in the summer but next week or so will begin to haul the public on Sundays. Over 10 miles of track. No snow. Minimum leaves, just weeds and occasional rattle snakes. Love following your Ivy Railway.
Sounds amazing!!
This looks like a brilliant line, the way it has different stations and goes through a cutting makes it look like a working railway, not a garden one.
Thanks a lot! It is very useful for a number of reasons, but mainly fun!
Glad all is up and running swell again! Cheers!
Thanks Stan!
Good times as always
Cheers!
Always good to find another video from you, the more the merrier! Even if UA-cam does seem to think that you're Alvin Lee's railway (Ten Years After , but you'd have known that).
Haha no I didn't know that. If it brings in the viewers that's fine.
Really enjoyed my visit, and thank you again for letting me visit and for firing up the railway
Great to see you Chris! Next time we will get the steam running.
I’ll give you more notice
@@nevardmedia no need. If I'm there you can come over!
Hi Ian, I've been checking in on your progress/following on the Ivy Railway for a couple of years on and off and I only recently realised that you are Ian Arkley ex Paramecium, I'm an avid railway modeller and rail fan in general but also an old school metalhead from Sydney, I wasn't a fan of Paramecium myself back in the day but an old mate of mine was and I think he knew you guys personally, James Heath. Just found it a spinout after watching your channel for a couple of years totally unaware my fellow railway modeller was also a fellow metal musician 🤘🏻 let alone the 7 degrees of separation phenomenon lol
Wow that's brilliant! Being based in the UK, I travelled out there to record many years ago. I was only on one album 'A Time to Mourn' and did no gigs with the band. I have remained friends with Andrew, the band founder.
Are you needing a snow plow with winter fast approaching?
We hardly get any here. A leaf plow would be more appropriate!
