The temp sensor is pretty useless unless your a woman.

To me, there’s really no meaningful difference between the S7, S8, and S9. In fact with the S7 you actually get more option in terms of the colors on the aluminum case, and you get the titanium Edition option, which is what I have. The S9 is a great watch but there’s no reason to upgrade or spend the extra money that I can see.
Titanium edition? I thought it was available in aluminum and stainless steel. 🤷🏻♀️

Just a quick correction.
Series 7 has Bluetooth 5.0, not 5.3.
Series 7 does not have crash detection. This feature was introduced in Series 8.
Series 9 has 64gb of storage, not 32gb.
did both watch have always on altimeter?
Also the weight of the 7th series 41mm version is off. From Apple's site:
Aluminum: 32.0g
Stainless Steel: 42.3g
Titanium: 37.0g
7th has no temperature sensor
Just a quick clarification - I was hit of my cycle by a car last year - my Apple Watch 5 crash detection worked whilst I was laying in the road 🤔
@@mikeclements4548the biggest difference in Apple Watches is only the the ultra other then that it’s only hype.
no way they saved that much weight in the same form factor. had to double check and they weight the same. only notable difference from these two is probably the extra brightness which is always nice esp if you can get it brighter on the same battery life. s7 chip is fast enough to work fine atm, don't necessarily need 64gb storage. u2 is whatever. bluetooth 5.3 wouldn't really matter to me since my other devices aren't matching that anyways. perfectly fine with my s7 rn. guess i'll wait for the series 10 and if thats looking lackluster i'll wait another year. smartwatch functional tech seems to have peaked for the most part aside from maybe a few health related sensors. curious to see what new things come from it in the future

I upgraded from the series 7 to the first gen Ultra. Main reason for the move was the increased durability and bigger screen for my boomer eyes.
Ultra is 49mm and looks gigantic on my small wrist lol

I upgraded but returned!! Found no difference that new commercial got a lot of people with showing the features of answering with gestures but that’s been on the watch for a long time now lol so people went out buying it thinking they had to upgrade in order to use it!! You hit all points perfectly I’m keeping my series 7 cellular it’s not much of an upgrade for me to switch!!
I thought the finger gesture was only available with the series 9. I have the series 7. I didn’t know that the series 7 is capable as well.
It is available but it’s not quite the same. I hate the little border on everything if you turn it on in accessibility.

There’s practically no difference! Just bought a used 45mm series 7 aluminum in great condition with gps/lte for only $150! At that price, there’s no comparison for such small differences

yes, a lot of the simpler command is processed on device. makes it much more responsive.

I just picked up a Series 7 45mm Titanium for 190. It’s the last of the watches that come with titanium besides the Ultra, and I don’t think the Ultra is worth the cost just yet.

I recently wore my Apple Watch Series 6 to Kalahari and it is now ruined. 😢 I can’t seem to find a new series 7 so I may get an Amazon renewed premium or I saw the series 9 on sale for 350. Your video help me understand the differences, but I’m still undecided. 🤷♂️ Any additional advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am planning to buy my first Apple Watch. For the price of basic aluminium series 9 I can get stainless steel cellular series 7 or maybe 8. 7 even with Milanese loop strap. Which one should I get? Is Watch os 10 noticeably slower on older models?

In the end I managed to buy a Series 7 SS Graphite with Milanese Band, used but with 100% battery life and in very good condition for 260 GBP. Hopefully it comes just as advertised. Great price I think if it does.

Last year I bought a brand new Apple Watch Series 7 stainless steel for the same price as an aluminum series 8. No regrets, and thanks apple for releasing basically the same product every year to make thinks like this possible.
Apple should provide atleast 1 week of battery for the price they charge
I mean, it’s not that much of a problem to put your Apple Watch on a charger for an hour for it can charge. I don’t understand why people have a hard time with that then you talk about battery life if that’s the case and get yourself like a basic Fitbit because the fact that there’s a lot of services in the background running in an Apple Watch with a tiny screen in a fast processor, you expected to have seven day battery life a day and a half to a day is perfectly fine. You can literally takeoff the watch while you shower while it charges

You can change playback speed in settings of all videos. Make it faster or slower for any UA-camr.

your volume was low. I am getting the 9 even though I am happy with my 7, because i ordered 3 with various colors and metal bands to look at in response to the current bru haha about no apple watches for sale after this week, and i fell in love with the pink with the graphite band. I like the 45. I have a lovely 7 the lighter shade starshine or what ever but the pink with the graphite is sharp. Merry Christmas to me! Plus, when I bought the 7 with gps it was over 700 bucks so interesting that the 9 is less expensive.

I have purchased the series 7 watch in November. Imo best value for what you pay. Series 7 and 8 don´t come with massive improvements or changes to justify a higher price. I have no idea who would be buying those and spend more on the 8 or 9 model. The SE 2 is also a joke compared to the series 7. The only regret I have is the colour I picked. I liked the green series 7, which just looks black when wearing it.
Just get a case, I interchange them and protect my watch from scratches. Voila you get the color you want for whatever vibe you want.

Nope, if you have a 6 or better no reason, the double tap is kind of gimmic. Or if you are outside all the time and have issues reading you're watch sometimes. Otherwise it's the same watch.

@@jordanking9096 I believe that is what is needed for the “women’s health” feature in order to determine the fluctuations in body temperature. I thought that was in the Series 9. I’m just saying that I personally don’t have any use for it, as well as the blood oxygen reader feature or the sleep cycle feature. It is simple. If I wake up feeling like 💩 then I know I had a bad night’s sleep! 😂

big deal I already knows about Apple Watch and I always get new upgrade apple watch every 2 years so series 7 it take about 3 to 4 hours to charge and newer ones up to 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get fully charged as same thing to apple watch ultra 1 and 2 ia what I have is now ultra 1 and it charged up to 1 1/2 hours and display is off and not always on and it takes 4 days so always on is about 2 to 3 days so ha beat that
