when doing overlapping or masked designs, think of physical collages with cutouts from paper media as you plan and create. break rules, or bend them as much as you can.
Guys he's giving you all the tips that helped him. A lot of beginners can use this. If you already know that then this video is not for you. It's also not for you to leave your rude comments.
@@SatoriGraphics no thank you for all the help. Even if sometimes you feel like you're not helping many because of their comments, know that you've helped so many people and even if we didn't pay you for it and you took the time to put everything so easy know that when it's your time to be in front of God he will not forget. You've helped me a lot with graphic design I have a successful business and you've helped a lot. Thank you.
The transitions and effects in this video are mind boggling,, The content is awesome but I was looking more into the little transitions, arrows floating around, the circles highlighting etc I am mesmarized. :)
Bro, more expert level design please. This was a really high quality upload, even though it was a short one. Also, what took Milanote so long to make that plugin? I could have needed that for the past 2 years lol. Anyway, thanks for the heads up. May use Milanote again
I plan to major in graphic design for uni next year, and every uni website I look at has a degree that leads to graphic design under a different name- fine arts, studio arts, design, and so on- could you help and explain what I should be looking for when trying to find a degree that can put me on the graphic design career path?
Hi there. Fine arts isn't graphic design, that is more to do with creative art. You need to find a degree such as BA Graphic Design or something like that.
The bleeding effect is great! Literally leading the eye from piece to piece. I’m thankful my architectural education had me obsessed with transparency modes early on 😅
Do you have any videos on how to use grids? I'm really struggling with uaing grids in my designs and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or right. Love the videos, I get so much information as a design student from your videos!
This is DA STUFF! Thanks Tom, I appreciate all of your videos and efforts you put into this, whenever you post a new video it’s like when my favorite TV releases a new episode.
2:59 really surprised to see a Taiwanese artist in the example of your demo lol. (FYI he is J.Sheon, a prominent R&B singer active in Taiwan and other Mandarin-speaking regions.)

If you are attracted to a design, in most cases it's because of the contrast. In this case, the author of the video speaks of a proximity contrast.
