    To anyone who has an issue with their projectile going random direction when fired, if you have hands, make sure they don't have colliders where the particles are spawned as this interacts with the particle as if it was an object.

      @@GabrielAguiarProd I got this pack last month. I remember I didn't notice the lack of 5 fingers for full minutes at first lol. (The finger movements up the hand are well aligned.)
      I just realized I got your explosions today! Your particle controller is AWESOME.

    If you have a projectile that's not spherical you can make it face the right diretion with a transform.lookAt(destination).

    If your are using this tut to make a gun and have the bullets flying everywhere, set the tag on the player to ignoreraycast

    This was an amazing tutorial, thank you so much! I had a blast creating my first ever projectile in unity. I'm thinking of getting that Udemy course as well but I see it says you need photoshop which i don't have. Do you think a free software such as Krita would work as a substitute for Photoshop in your udemy course?

    Great video! Any idea why moving the files into a project in Unity 2021 causes the low poly hand animations to collapse in on themselves?

      That's likely a bad export. Everything should work fine. Try to export as a package from a 2020 version to 2021.

    This video is great. However, I am stuck how would I do this for a gun? I am not going to be shooting with hands or dual weield weapons so is there a way I can make this shoot without having to use two sources the projectiles come from?

      Simply use one fire point instead of two. When we get to the point where we code, instead of programming for two fire points (two hands) use only one fire point. If you listen carefully to what I say in the coding part, you will understand how easy it is to do it for one fire point. Let me know if you need further support.

    Hi, i dont know if you still erad these coments
    But i have an error in the code that says
    'Camera' does not contain a definition for 'ViewportPointToRay' and no accessible extension method 'ViewportPointToRay' accepting a first argument of type 'Camera' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)
    I dont know if unity updated and this method became obsolete or something, also im using Character controller so i dont know if i need rigidbody to use this method.
    According to Unity documentation this method was correct but it keeps giving me the error

    I had a question, how does this work with the new input system in Unity? I did everything through a separate script and then through static instance used it in the control script.
    When I try to shoot, I get a NullReferenceError and the object does not appear

    How would I be able to add animations for each hand like you did in the very end? I added them to the FPSprojectile script for each hand and it doesn't play. No errors. I'm using an Animator to make it work between both hands.

      That's normal behaviour. Rayhits are pretty much instantaneous. What's the problem you are having with that?

    Boas, desde já agradecer pela ajuda que tens dado a muita gente, porém tou com dois problemas, o primeiro é que quando me mexo de lado para lado ou para traz, o projétil não vai para o crosshair como quando o player está parado, e o segundo é que o projetil da spawn sempre com a mesma rotação, em vez de a frente do mesmo apontar para onde foi posto o crosshair.
    Agradeço a ajuda se for possível.

    OK, I have an issue, If I am running in any direction, the projectile spawner shifts from side to side depending on my velocity, and If I am jumping and Running, FUGETABOUTIT.....
    I tried using this tutorial here, but the same issue.
    so here is my code for the Gun, I am just shooting a prefab. If I move in any direction while shooting, the bullet spawnpoint shifts from side to side or back and forth, etc. A lil help in understanding how to fix this.

      Not sure what's happening here but replace the barrel.rotation (in the Instantiate) with Quaternion.identity and see how it goes.

    Hi there,
    I just bought the projectile pack associated with this and followed all of the tutorial.
    When I add in projectiles from the unity asset store import they're showing as Pink Spheres and I cant get the mesh to work, any ideas?

      Could you please try the following steps:
      1) Open Unity Hub and create a new project with Unity 2021.3 or Unity 2022.3 and select URP as the template.
      2) Once the project is open go to Package Manager and in "Unity Registry" make sure Shader Graph is installed.
      3) Still in the Package Manager navigate to "My Assets".
      4) Update, if available, then download and import the purchased asset
      5) Import only the URP package in this case, since it's a URP project.
      6) Go to the folder Gabriel Aguiar Prod and double-click on the package.
      7) Press import all.
      8) Open a scene in the Scenes folder.
      Let me know how it goes.

      All of the projectiles now work but the muzzle, hit and projectile are now also accompanied by a background, kinda like a png that still has the background, so it's shooting the orbs but with a big black square around them.

    absolutley stumped right now even though this is a konda old video I cant seem to get the particles to shoot the right way, for a while ill be shooting straight ahead right where i want to then when i start turning the bullets will start shooting behind me or to my left

      @@thorzag5479 Late reply but I had this happen too, the issue was I made a crappy makeshift set of arms and left the colliders enabled for those, and the particles would spawn inside those and at odd angles would count at a hit messing things up. Make sure you don't have colliders where your particles are spawning. (For anyone reading)

    as you know this is not real way to implement shooting projectile in FPS, with this way, you can't hit enemyeven if aim is targeting enemy

      This part is unnecessary: (Transform.firePoint)
      In this case, you can create the function without any input, like this:
