Mahershala Ali is a beast actor he played cotton mouth in Luke cage and is a 2 time oscar winner, I like micheal jai white but this Ali man damn is a talent.

Guillermo del Toro deserves just as much recognition for his contribution for Blade's history as the comics. He was the one to technically produce and prove super heros from Marvel can be good and profitable and propelled Blade into higher fame. We would not have the modern situation of Blade without Toro.

Blade was one of the first horror movies I was able to sit through as a kid and I'm so glad that they are making new ones
I saw Blade as a kid, but even then I was so interested in the action and story that I would never have put it in the category of horror movies. I understand the way those horror themes are applied now, but when I was younger, I was like "forget Superman, Batman, Wolverine AND GOKU... call me BLADE"

Thank God, they gave Maharshala Ali a starring role after they shafted him in Luke Cage. He was a great villain in it.

What did you think of the voice acting for the Prowler? Because that voice is the new blade. I thought uncle Aaron was excellent, so his energy as plus cottonmouth and Alita Battle Angel, I'm the least bit worried about him.
Bit difficult for Ali to live up to Snipes. Acting wise he outclasses him. But athletic and martial arts wise he cant. He is 45 and judging by his arm is in decent shape. But building muscle and getting well coordinated for fight scenes would be difficult. Plus snipes was a martial artist before playing Blade and was way younger at the time. On top of that it doesn help that Blade has retarded Ageing hopefully Ali being close to middle age doesnt take a toll on him like it did for Jackman as Wolverine. Tho if we want martial arts actor for Blade. Joey Ansah would be perfect.
Does he know Martial Arts? I hope it’s not like Iron First with a non Kung-Fu guy. I did end up like liking the Iron Fist Netflix tho
@@spitflamez as far as Im aware Mahershala Ali does not know martial arts. And judging by his roles in Predators and Luke Cage. He isnt all that action orientated as an actor. Joey Ansah who I personally want for Blade is skilled in several styles and can do his own stunts.

The original blade film is in my top 5 superhero films of all time. Blade deserves a reboot.

Disney doing a rated R movie dont hold ya breath on it. Disney was created in 1923, 97yrs ago and they dont do those type movies. Iam glad Snipes not in it now that movie will be water down ill enjoy the original badass rated R official blade films on blu ray

Blade really kicked off the super hero craze to me. Helped springboard marvel studios and showed a rated r super hero movie could do it way before deadpool and logan. I want snipes to be Whistler now though

Blade is definitely one of my top 3 favorite characters in the marvel comics. Its about time they started doing more with him, because he is such an awesome and misunderstood character. At the movie, at first I never knew blade is in marvel, until I rewatched it and showed MARVEL KNIGHTS so searching its comics and he is one of my fave

That's how I first became interested in Blade, Morbius, Ghost Rider and other classics. It's an amazing show that did a great job introducing the audience to the wider Marvel universe.

More Blade content would be great as long as it's in the same vein as the first two films.
The main problem with the character is the lack of interest in him. The Witcher is a greatly successful series, one which Marvel can learn from. Hire a team who’s interested in doing monster hunter stories. And you have a recipe for a successful and lasting Blade series.

I'm pumped for a new Blade movie in the MCU. Also I think it works better as a movie of course. Sense Blade doesn't have many big villains. It makes him a great movie hero. It sucks we won't be getting a Blade, Spiderman and Morbis movie though. Still the movie I'm most pumped for coming out of the MCU.

I think a show would have been a good idea... I think the movie is an even greater idea. The other MCU shows such as, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Marvels AOS, etc didn't get the praise they really deserved and I believe that Blade getting a ''movie role'' this will make the character way more popular and fit into the story more as well.
I had an old Blade comic book that my brother gave me in the 1970s. I kept it for years until I grew up. When I moved out of my mom's house, I left a few things in a box. When I came back a year later to get the box, she told me that she threw it away. That comic was in the box she threw away

I loved the Blade films starring Wesley Snipes and was my introduction to the character. I’m honestly excited for the fact that Blade is going to be a film in the MCU and not a tv series. Here’s to hoping Ali can be just as good as Snipes was as Blade.

First heard of Blade thanks to the Wesley Snipes movies (those were the ones that set the standard for the character), but I really enjoyed the Studio Madhouse Anime version as well.

I like that this is more mythology type stuff like Thor, that exists in the Marvel universe. And I loved the Wesley Snipes Blade movies, so hopefully this works out well in the MCU!

Even though Blade is one of my favorites, I have to admit that the possibilities for the character's inclusion for meaningful and fitting roles are limited at best.
People say Iron Man was the beginning of the MCU….I think it was Blade. Wesley Snipes was born for that role and he killed it. Let’s also not overlook Stephen Dorff and Kris Kristofferson. Awesome cast.
The MCU is the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Iron Man was the beginning. Blade is the beginning of Marvel movies in general.
