The first interview where I felt, Bharadwaj Rangan was flown away with the philosophy of the actor and was immersed in his answers. Bharadwaj Rangan was was floating with VJS thought.

I think, it'll be hard to subtitle this one. The essence would be lost in translation. Vjs speaks in layers and metaphors. Never seen an actor with such an insight- the way he explains his acting/ thought process. Such a philosopher, such an actor !!!!!!!!!

It is so interesting to know that Vijay Sethupathi likes Prabbu Deva as a performer, not many would take a call, but this man having totally his own perspectives with a strong belief. Thank you Baradwaj sir, this is one interview of two individuals whom I look up the most respectively.
OMG what an interview thank you BR!! I feel enlightened after this interview. This man’s ethics and values are what everyone should have but difficult to walk the talk for the rest of us . This should shown to all drama schools and film institutes where aspiring actors want to enter entertainment industry!!

Such a beautiful, beautiful interview. More than his confidence, Vijay Sethupathi is so passionate about his craft and that comes out in all its brilliance in this interview. I was introduced to him after watching Super Deluxe. People across all social media platforms were talking about Super Deluxe and so I decided to watch the film. Before that, I didn't know much about cinema in the south. After Super Deluxe, I watched '96 and bawled my eyes out (I wished I had never known about '96 and Vijay Sethupathi). Then I watched Vikram Vedha. And then I watched him in the Film Companion interview and how eloquently he talked about how easy learning a language is, but how difficult grasping a culture is. Absolutely love him. Hoping against hope that he does a Bangla film once.
I shall surely learn Tamil some day just to listen to him speak in interviews like these.
