Your facial expressions after the first day were hilarious! I remember those days! I'm still working with children, but am no longer in the classroom, but I remember first days! You feel like a truck hit you! HA! All the feels. Hope you guys have a wonderful school year! Sounds like you a part of a great district! Loved that the superintendent made an appearance!🥰

Ohio teacher here! I was in my classroom yesterday, it was 94 degrees with 84% humidity! We have no air conditioning 😭 It looked like I took a shower by the time I left! Thankfully no kids yet, we don’t go back until the last week of August. I think air condition is like a basic necessity! Try to keep cool! I was just in Arizona a couple weeks ago, and that sun is HOT.
