Just ordered this, can’t wait to get it and set it up! Looks like the best option on the market for price vs quality of materials, and one of the few that will fit my tiny garage gym space 💪
Ok, I'm sold, placing the order right now. Great video! I researched Rogue, Vulcan and Rep, and for my basic needs, this is awesome, thanks for the long detailed video, really inspired confidence in the quality and pride in the product
@@shinsegi8422 yes, it's awesome. glad I purchased it, never realized how much of a difference it makes to have have spotter arms set up right when doing squats and bench. I'm not paid to promote this anyway. Completely unbiased opinion. Also, I'm a compulsive window shopper so I looked at a lot of competitors before going with this and no regrets.
I really like the Fringe people. This rack is good but not great. It's pretty wide making racking the bar a bit difficult. It really needs to be bolted or weighed down. It will work but I think worth looking at other options too.
I just purchased this rack and it looks great, but I’m wondering something. The weight capacity is 450 and you say it could hold more... how much more are we talking? Keep it real with me now😂
@@jackfitzgerald9970 it’s a good rack my guy, I feel like you need to put weight on pegs when you go over 315lb, That’s just me tho. It feels more secured with weight holding it down 100% uhhh would I buy it again probably not just cuz I’ve seen better racks for a little bit more money but better build. However for a budget rack and a first time buyer I would say it a good rack not the best but it will definitely get the job done. I haven’t done more than 355lb for squats on it because that’s all the weight I got, it feels good with that on maybe some lil wobbling when re racking but nothing major. IF THEY WOULD REPLY TO MY COMMENT I WOULD FEEL MUCH BETTER ON PUTTING MORE WEIGHT ON IT😂😂😂 ohhh Yea editing this real quick, I’m 6’2 and the pull up bar for me it to low, not there fault just wanted to mention that just Incase you are 6’0 and above.

Good video! I’m sold. This touched on all the points of concern for me which are footprint 4’x4’, standard steel size so I can add accessories such as a dip bar, and west side hole spacing. To get those features I’d have to get a more expensive and more bulky rack. Definitely best rack in the price range and has features of more expensive racks. Can’t wait to get mine!
can you do incline bench press on this? the reason I ask on your site a reviewer complained that he could not do an incline bench and that is main reason Iam buying this for bench press.
I'm not affiliated with them, but yes, no issue with incline bench. I bought the spotter arms from them. Got a rep incline bench and I use various angles, not sure why anyone has an issue. It even has westside spacing which is for bench press
But if you have 225 on the rack/spotter arms and want to do pullups or trx work. That poses an issue if you weigh the difference (450lbs capacity - 225lbs )
after watching this, i'm just wondering if the people who make the cheap squat racks on amazon actually do squats themselves. did they ever actually RACK a loaded bar on their own squat rack or was the "testing" just placing a bar on the rack and loading plates onto it with no actual impact?
@@FringeSportHQ just checking in after a a few years with this rack. I want to say that my experience with Fringe’s customer service was phenomenal. It makes me like the product that much more. I have the rack anchored to my garage floor and I also have the spotter arms and v2 dip bars. Sometimes I dream of getting a full rack but if I only had this rack for the rest of my life, I’m sure I’d be just fine. I have considered upgrading since my max squat is above the rating, but I don’t usually squat that heavy on a regular basis. I squatted 455 with this rack the other day and it handled it just fine 👍

I own one of this things and is an absolute win. You can even hang a small pulley to the pull-up bar creating almost a micro gym. Great product !

Excellent presentation. Nice rack. It should be rated more than 450lbs, though. Am wondering, what gauge steel is it?

Add a link to the squat rack. I'm not looking it up

@Kiln Strength haha fair enough. its been a month or two.
I don't know what the price was when this video was first posted, but it is going for $349 in April 2022, which seems like a great deal.

I liked and sub channel very good video thanks
Want to use for squat and bench press and Ohp
Do you shipping to Asia?
What gauge of steel is it made with?
Want to use in spare bedroom in apt
Does anybody know where I could buy a men’s health squat rack or a dtx squat rack delivered to Ireland? Thanks.
Needs wheels like the Rogue and Titan to make it movable
You can carry it!
Is this made in USA?
what squat rack do you recommend for a 5ft length bar 1 inch diameter because i think this rack is too wide for my bar.
It is I just baught it and I had to buy new bar
What did you buy at the end?
Can the spotter arms be used if the rack is not bolted down?
Yes, but better/safer if bolted down
