I’m honestly surprised GenG was able to retain their core. They’ll probably be fine tbh. Meteor for Foxy9 is def a downgrade but Lakia was their weakest player so I’m cautiously optimistic of Yoman
@@jeppong i agree Lakia has those moments. But if i were their coach, i wouldnt wish and bet on his performance on that game to have 1-2 good moments. I rather have a decent player who is consistent enough no matter what.
I think ur underrating Talon. If youve watched their games vs GenG and DRX in the TEN Invitational, youll see theyre actually building quite some chemistry and teamwork. dont forget they added primmie right literary a short time before champions. I dont think theyre beating teams like PRX and GenG next year, but i can see them beating the others including T1 and DRX. For this tournament, i actually have hopes for them. I feel like they are gonna do better than expected, prolly even better than Sentinels and NRG
I don't have much of a clue at all how this new DRX will perform, of course I'm rooting for them just as a pacific fan, but man I feel like the original players, foxy9, and beyn were done pretty dirty over the last few years. super keen to keep seeing buzz and stax on T1, they look good so far, and foxy9 has potential on GenG. beyn being out on his ass is sad though, hope he finds a team
For DRX, I think most of the new roster is from their academy team and they look decently solid on the whole GenG should still be great Talon I think will be the dark horse Sen are good but a downgrade, I think they'll be much better than sen city NRG are also good, I think they'll look worse than at sen city BLG should be decent too, similar level to talon I think I have no clue about the non vct teams
FNS sadly denied getting an Aim coach at the Sen city post match interview (I asked the question) (I also think he’s lying that man, he couldn’t have just fixed his aim style over night)
@@muhammadazrafbinmohdakmam4772 I think very good based on circumstances. changed roles, changed igl, head coach didn’t attend. Beating Gen G, and playing PRX to a close match was good
He said it in the video. He has no clue who the new guys are, meaning he m doesn’t know anything about the APAC scene. (Proven by the fact he went 0/3 when talking about the new players previous experience in pro val) If he knew he wouldn’t have said anything because the roster changes DRX made were genuinely reasonable.
@@KingKarim174 I dont think this zeph guy is unemployed enough and watches enough val for him to make these typa videos. but this is very good for base level information? I think?
@@bissyboy as an apac viewer, here's the play by play for why termi hate is warranted despite how skilled and accomplished of a coach he is 1. DRX was the undisputed best of APAC pre-franchising, and consistently making 5-6th in internationals (even though prx would usually place higher, they were mostly farming against teams that couldn't adapt to their breakneck speeds) 2. Come franchising, DRX decide to field their 6th man F9 instead of Zest as an "investment prospect", making Buzz and Rb play off roles (it also made mako play viper on non-breeze/icebox, but i'd assume he's comfortable enough) 3. After not fielding Zest for a solid 2 months, they put him in and lose against TS before immediately deciding to bring back F9 4. After losing to PRX, they immediately bring Zest back in for the remainder 2 games of Stage 1 (and lose to PRX but thats beside the point) 5. Into Tokyo, they start out with F9 again, but bring back Zest for the rest of the year immediately after losing a single game. They bombed out of Playoffs in Tokyo (on account of not scrimming with Zest before the tournament I'd assume), but go back to 5-6 in champs. 6. Post 2023, DRX drops Zest (understandable as they were moving towards that direction the whole of 2023) but also drop Rb who has been their most consistent and flexible player for like 3 years now 7. After sorting out some role issues in the off-season and F9 starting to find a foothold as a decent senti player, Flashback decides he wants to play senti and Termi forces F9 on flex init 8. They bring in Beyn to flex during the Flashback fiasco and put F9 back on Senti (still normal) and don't qual for awhile since PRX and GENG are too strong 9. Flashback is back for Stage 2, so they DROP STAX THEIR IGL TO KEEP BEYN, AND STILL KEEP F9 ON SENTI, before finally deciding to go back to F9 flex init in week 3 10. They make 5-6 in champs and everyone is happy again 11. They drop everyone but Mako and Flashback 12. THEY DROPPED EVERYONE BUT MAKO AND FLASHBACK, INCLUDING THE GUY THEY INVESTED 2 YEARS IN, PUT ON 4 DIFFERENT ROLES AND TROLLED 2 SEASONS FOR AND SHIPPED HIM OFF TO GENG FULLY PREPPED 13. i mean the roster looks decent now since termi is still a good coach despite everything but every step of the way was an insurmountable amount of throwing tl;dr; trolled 2023 for Foxy9, trolled 2024 for Flashback, trolled Zest in general, shipped their most flexible and consistent player to China, shipped 2 years of investment to GenG for free, and is also notorious for calling his first timeouts at stupid scores like 3-12 i won't hold dropping Buzz against termi since T1 probably dropped a fat dollar that DRX couldn't compete with

Yoman and lakia both have amazing util but yoman defiinitely shoots better consistently

Yoman also helps out with mid rounding and frags really well, if Foxy9 can be more consistent he'll be a great senti
And smallest player I seen smaller than zekken
If NRG is able to do really well in this tournament, I think they will be incredibly good next year, But we need an NRG vs BLG rematch
"Paycheck Thief" 😭
Bro has dirt on all of C9
as a MIBR fan, I have a new favorite team from thailand
Talking about FNS being uncle I think we forget uncle Jessievash probably
People tend to forget because he hasn’t shown up on the international stage in a long time
Would be crazy if we get to see cove incident #2 and BLG incident #2 as well
I wish Lev, PRX, Vitality or even T1 play this tournament. It gonna be hella banger if these teams here
So you’re telling me our boys on NRG not only have to relive the Bilibili matchup, but the COVE INCIDENT too?!
This’ll be fun~

free1ng is from challengers Korea and cn ascension.
HYUNMIN is from tier 3 Japan
Flashback is from academy

FNS sadly denied getting an Aim coach at the Sen city post match interview (I asked the question) (I also think he’s lying that man, he couldn’t have just fixed his aim style over night)
It could have just been his teammates and bonkar, that way he didn't technically get an aim coach but he's learning to drop his bad aiming habits
he probably just listened to the comments he has been getting for years and paid more attention to his aiming habits during scrims.
The only way NRG get out of groups is if they manage to avoid bilibili
i thought it got cancelled because of whats happening in south korea?
Regarding Talon, sscary COULD have joined them back in 2023. He didn’t, since he took the bag. I don’t think sscary would join this Talon.
FNS is okay guys!
