@theScoreesports I'm a chamber main since day one. Had to adjust a lot of things since release because of the multiple changes. Iso and Neon need nerf imo

Honestly, despite how broken he was initially, I think that Chamber was really fun to watch in pro play at times. As unhealthy as he was for the game, he allowed for another duelist to shine with him. He was also such a cool showcase of strictly gunplay for pros. The Optic Neon Chamber comp on fracture was genuinely so fun to watch when it was around.
Chamber will forever be the most dominant agent ever released in Valorant. He was the one constant in a game of clockworks that would not comply. From the economy of the game itself to the extremely well kitted arsenal , there was simply too little to do once you heard that "You want to play? Let's play."
He was so strong that Riot was just straight up scared for several agents that were likely in earlier development while he was dominating. After him was Neon who released in a not amazing state. Fade was solid, but then: Harbor: Weak on release (and still weak) Gekko: Was mid at best on release. (He's good now, after numerous buffs) Deadlock: Weak on Release Iso: Weak on Release Clove: The only exception. But Clove as an agent was built to be more selfish. Vyse: Really only useable in higher skilled games (and even then she's not amazing)
@@Chrosteellium I loved reading this analysis. thank you , that was really something to notice. they were cowering after that monumental fuck up on chamber...and it shows. you are right. Clove was the only "wow" factor after chamber
But because of that slow, defaulty, methodical playstyle, Paper Rex were able to give birth to W Gaming by abusing the human incapacity of aiming a Raze/Jett in flight, Yoru in ult, and Reyna/Skye strat that led to Skye being nerfed.
I mean like hes just build like that he just pulls out golden guns with 100% accuracy. Thats why i otp hime hes just plain goated and rich and badass and rich and handsome and tall and id do anything for him.

But he simply makes games unfun and he bails out bad players from situations they should lose. No game with headshot focus should ever have someone immune to headshots.
@@Crusina I argue R6 with Blackbeard, but Valorant isn’t a true OSOK game unlike R6. Valorant only has 4.5 guns (excluding snipers) that oneshot to the head. Neon is easy to play against in my opinion. With Chamber you could throw hundreds of Util at chamber for him just to press e and teleport somewhere else. Sometimes with a pick... Just for the it to come back in 30 seconds.

I would like to add that Nat's innovation with the sentinel role probably contributed to how people saw chamber. He set the standard that sentinel players should be actively taking space through lurking and chamber's kit plays right into that role.
Pre-nerf Chamber was such a menace, you could lockdown and instantly teleport to both sites in Bind if you placed his teleport in certain areas. Not only that, you could play mind games by placing his teleport on either site, and another one on the A site portal. His kit was so creative but that shit was insane.
It was, but Neon's just starting to be absolutely controversial now. Chamber only dominated in the higher ranks and only the smurfs dominated the lower ranks, but Neon can be played by a bronze player in a gold lobby and become mid-frag.
Neon meta is terrible but chamber was absolutely the most broken agent in the game. Just look at some of optics haven games where yay holds garage, B main and A main entirely by himself while his team 4 stacks C. His tp was by far the best escape ability, he had two infinite range trips that throw a sage slow when they activated, an op that shot at marshal speeds and a guardian with deagle movement error. Imo playing against a neon is far more frustrating than chamber was but he was absolutely the most broken character. Neon's pick rates in both ranked and pro play come no where near close to what his were. You could and should have been playing chamber on every single map.
This Agent pumped and flew me from Silver and Gold tier where I was stuck for two years to Diamond and Ascendent, ofc there was Viper buff too that helped but it was definitely Chamber who changed the game for me. And watching this agent wreak havoc and chaos in esports matches was a horrific pleasure.
The chamber Meta was so hard that when he had 5700 credits , you didn't peek mid or the site he was usually playing . But chamber meta is nothing compared to the Neon meta we are currently in , imagine an agent using a bucky to one shot enemies carrying vandals and phantoms
Disclaimer: former chamber main I would love to see them bring back the second teleport, but make it cost 500-800 credits so its actually costly. If you dont buy the second tele, then it just functions as it does now. Makes him actually high risk high reward, and punishes him for getting too greedy

Its also for the best that hes bad in pro cuz he still has the depth of a petri dish. Its like reyna except u still have to plan slightly ahead and weigh risk-reward, since he still has to set up his tp while reyna just always has dismiss active, and he has next to no space-taking util so if u fight up but the enemies arent there, the retake is gonna be rough
I know people hate him but I didn’t have an interest in Valorant until I saw the Chamber trailer. Sadly (maybe fortunately) I never played “broken” Chamber but played him months after his nerfs. Still have fun with him and still my favorite Valorant character
With the nerfs to these "broken" agents like Neon and run n gun spreads, Riot has me shaking my head. We are still moving towards a precise gunplay meta making the game more like CS go and other more stale FPS games, and less like Valorant. Utility is one of the gameplay pillars that Valorant stands on, and taking risks is part of what makes the gameplay interesting. If players are allowed to take risks, you will always find a new and refreshing experience. But that is besides the point. The players know what they want, but are often confused about what they want. They are correct that gunplay is important and it is what brings many players together, but to sacrifice the rest of the player base, those who adopt more niche playstyles, is not the right move long term. Instead, have you considered a Kayo meta? Lore wise it makes sense, but when was the last time we looked at Kayo's win percentage statistics? There are always ways to counter strong agents. Iso and chamber were truly broken and required nerfs, but even at their best, buying a stinger + run and gun beat iso. Eliminating the strong chamber positions with extra smokes and stuns. But what is the ultimate counter against someone abusing an agents abilities? A well placed Kayo dart. Kayo could very easily become the most broken agent in Valorant history, but a well balanced Kayo could be what helps save Valorant's Identity crisis. Agents like Kayo, and believe it or not, Yoru should be the future of Valorant gameplay. Adding more agents that make you question the mini-map, eliminate audio, reposition, and deny abilities, could add the right kind of strategic chaos and need for teamwork that will allow the evolution of new strategies and the meta's to unfold and truly open new opportunities for competitive and ranked play. Maybe an initiator agent who's ult allows you to send out multiple clones of your teamates in an illusion fake push. Or an initiator that allows you to TP teamates. You could save someone who is gekko ulted, or relocate a sage for the ultimate grim wall. Maybe add a duelist who's ult allows you to revive a fallen teamate if you land a shot? That's the reason why clove is so beloved, because it fixes one of Valorants biggest gameplay issues. Lack of user engagement + tilt after they die (while wait for the round to be over). Keep players involved longer into rounds. In the majority of cases I've seen, players are motivated to become less toxic when begging for the sage heal / revive. You are helping to protect a lot of players from themselves and others not only by adding agents that encourage positivity, but also by keeping the playable agent pool as diverse as possible. Don't focus on punishing players for taking risks and or adopting niche playstyles; rather, reward them for working together.
I was hardstuck gold 2 before Chamber was released, when riot released this menace, I ranked up so fast with span of months (gold 2-dia3), then I even got to Ascendant 1 before he got nerfed. Thanks to this agent, I got to play aggressively while being cautious, and I did that playstyle to every agent and it led me to ranking up to Immo 3
I found Chamber to be a Great agent similar to Reyna as they rewarded good Aim a core aspect of the game that everyone tries to get to the Highest point possible. You can definitely Shoot and TP but if you don't hit anything you are a useless player, while Reyna and ISO can be supportive agents if needed. If you were to Bring back Old Chamber into the Game with ISO, Kayo, Fade, Gecko and Neon. Chamber would not be as Dominant as the game has Gone more Util than Gunplay focused. The biggest problem is not that some agents are too strong, but instead it is because it takes long to adapt to Game changing agents. Like look at Neon, Apex players do not find Neon Strong cause that is how they play APEX. And the Ability style of Valorant is not hard for Overwatch players. Most Val players are CS players so if the game is too different from CS then it is an issue which is why Phoenix and Kayo were agents that were loved for so long, as CS players just found instant synergy with these agents. Anyways I am gonna keep playing My French Sniper while I am enjoying the Game and the Videos.
I was a new player when he was at his peak and I play him on every rank/unrated games I played I was so confused on how Riot just let this kind of agent exist and he got nerfed after a few months

Riot won’t learn. They have a history of making OP characters in LoL and then nerfing them into the ground. Even after the horrible agent changes they make currently, they still end up destroying the meta. Whoever thought the neon changes were a good idea should find a new career as a product owner.
If they found a way to rebalance the rest of him, id love classic tp back. Or at least a reworked version with the 2 anchors. If they gutted/replaced his op I wouldn't mind.
I think neon is the most controversial agent in valorant and I said this way before this meta the slide and ult are a bit much for a tactical shooter imo
At that time, EVERY team comp on every single map has to have a Chamber in it. And if your team doesn't pick Chamber, your team is simply trolling because by not picking that single agent can determine the chances wether you'll lose or win that entire match. That's just a glimpse of how bad and broken it was
@EnderKnightBG Stop capping... it was not every team and every map at all. During his prime, only 65% of games had a Chamber (VCT 2022)... It's the same pick rate as KJ in VCT 2023 and lower than Sova 68% (VCT 2021) and way lower than the 81% of Viper during this year VCT.

I'd rather have this Chamber that cringe Neon. At least you had to have good aim and game sense to pull off great Chamber.
my goat
Riot don't play their game...
Destroyed the League Of Legends meta and now it's Valorant time :D
Chamber hasn't been meta relevant for over a year, he was banned to the ground and has slowly been receiving buffs to make him playable again.
Neon, not chambs.
Chamber main💪
CHAMBAAAA!!!!!!!
have you SEEN the neon meta?
I mean, he was busted
Peak Chamber wasan't even close of current neon.
Still doesn’t beat neon’s rng 😂
Chamber keeps sexually harassing his colleagues
Cool video, nerf azir
