Great ideas. Trying to figure out size and build out to keep everything under 2k lbs. Have a small eco sport that is rated to pull max 2k. I know 1,200 or 1,500 would be better. But will just be towing mostly flat Florida highways to the beach.
Thank you. You can keep a 5 x 8 build out at 1500 lbs. I did one (video is titled "Raod Tripper". I used 3/4" ply for the bed platform, but that was overkill. 1/2" would have been fine and the trailer would have weighed 1550 lbs instead of 1600.
What is the final interior height? I'm looking at this and trying to figure out if a queen mattress half a foot wider would fit well (were both over 6' tall as well)
@TinyTrailers4BigAdventures wow! I don't need to stand up straight but I want to be able to stand up and change clothes pretty well and have enough space to function! Thanks.
Any thoughts or suggestions for doing a "screen room" coming off the back with the ramp as the base? i've seen a couple but very pricey and on toy haul/camper just haven't seen something lower in cost or a sort of DIY I have a 5x10 V nose trailer that i wanted to do this with if I can get some sort of direction to start
@@TinyTrailers4BigAdventures thanks for the reply.. unfortunately in my case my trailer is a 5x10 inside 5' height but it works for me because im short lol .. i just tip my head to walk thru. but i will toy around with the ez up idea. needed a small light trailer to pull with my Honda Civic.
@@taotmmusic - An 8 ft high EZ up would fit over the top of your trailer. I saw a video where the guy had a 6 ft trailer. Be put the EZ up over the rear of the trailer about 18". He took a tarp and cut it to fit from the bottom of the EZ up to lay on the roof from side to side to close off that area, then used the magnetic screens on the 2 sides and open front. He also had tarps to cover theopen areas in case of bad weather. If I can find the video again, I'll tag you with it.
@mega0876 -The cable gets realeased and rewound when the bed is down. When it's time to put the bed up, they reconnect the cable and raise the bed. The cable is never connected to the bed box when they use the bed.
@@TinyTrailers4BigAdventures You’re welcome and thank you for replying back to me! You’re to far away from me. I wish you were closer. I have a 5x8 WeeRoll being built and wish you could build it out for me.
@@TinyTrailers4BigAdventures You’re welcome and thank you sir! I’m very interested in the bed you made that you could use once the rear door was opened that you showed in one of your videos.
Frank Mckinley - Yes, the door in the nose is a factory option. The advantage in a conversion is that it gives you full wall space on both sides. Disadvantage is you lose use of half of the V area. Because we built this trailer to carry a 4 wheeler and provide a sleeping area, losing 1/2 the V wasn't a real concern.
Everything to take in about the trailer and your takeaway is my breathing? Seriously, I was just learning how to make videos at the time and balancing the audio was not in my skill set.
Absolutely awesome
Thank you

Did you say how much it weighs?
Looks great! Lots of great ideas here. Any idea of overall weight in the current configuration?
Thank yku. It weighs just under 2100 lbs.

I've been toying with an EZ Up canopy and adding magetic door screens on the open sides. Depending on trailer height, this could work.

That bed is cool but that winch cable can be dangerous as you can’t see it and you might hit your head on or can be a guillotine

@@TinyTrailers4BigAdventures Thanks.
Take a sharpie and label that switch. Never have a switch, breaker or a fuse that is not labeled.
Actually, I'm putting label maker labels on it this weekend. Waiting for Amazon to get the label tape to me.
What is the dimensions of the fold up table? Length and width.
The table is 36" long x 22" wide.
do you have something like this with a 7x14 trailer?
We can absolutely do a 7 x 14 trailer. I have a 7 x 12 on the channel that can give you an idea of how much room a 7 wide gives you.
