  • I may have forgot what I was talking about halfway through. I do not love talking on video.
    I've tried to stick to the presentation of it being more worn than other ships, though right now a lot of the fixings are the same as those on other ships.
    The aim with this ship is to be an introduction to multi-mast ships. It can do everything that larger boats can, just not as well, and it's a bit slow. Unlike the other ships, this one has a tiller as well.
    Right now it's controlled physically, in that the player's movement left and right moves the tiller
    , not sure I'll keep to that but it's fun in the meantime.
    On the dev side this was an experiment to see how well the general ship controller scripts can be ported from one ship to another, and how well they work with different sailplans and control objects. I pretty pleased with how it works. There's dozens of scripts at play, but they are pretty modular, and perform well on a variety of ship styles.
