@k johnson i say this as a true christian and believer in God, but you are the most despicable type of believer there is. you have this falsehood that everything about God is perfect and holy. you sound like my former pastor and its disgusting. Nicki came to Tasha and asked could she worship God on her album not the other way around. the pastor in this video is right: ANYONE is allowed to worship God because He said so and if you can't get that through your thick skull then you need to sit in a corner with a dunce cap on and read the Bible from front to back because where did Jesus go to minister? not in the churches, not with the holy men, not with the saved folk. He went to the lowest of the low and the dirt poor the nasty the filth to minister and help them. modern society is not in tune with God enough to come to Him like the King James bible but they respond to familiarity. Seeing/hearing Nicki in this song HAS and WILL CONTINUE to bless souls and win them to Christ. I pray whatever darkness and misery taints your heart is cleared before its too late for you. Jesus ate with um, loved on um, ministered to um, but he never used them to minister...Any sinner that Jesus ever used... was first converted and became a disciple. They gave up their jobs, left their families, their lifestyles and followed him. How you gone lead people to Christ and you ain't converted yourself? Only the spirit of God draws people to God. So....if you are not of his spirit you ain't drawing nothing but some flesh and a check. Sit down.

When I first heard this song on spotify, I didn't even know the rapper was Nicki & THIS SONG SAVED ME!
If Christ is using them as vessels to reach out through his art, none of it matters but the glory returned to him in the process.
I was in a deep hole & God somehow played this song next when I didn't even know who Tasha was. That was my song for the next week & month & I for one, can tell you that repeating those words to myself and creating lyrical choreographies as a dancer, helped me get out of that ditch & not return.
To this day, I am blessed by that song. So brethren, tell me how I'm supposed to care about the artists more than the art?
At the end of the day, y'all may vocalize your opinions but the purpose was for his word to not return void & in my life, these words expressed in art brought the glory back to him. If this reached out to me who didn't know her or follow Nicki, imagine what the Spirit could do if this landed in Nicki's followers' ears. There's always so much potential with things pointing to the kingdom & we should rid our focus on the artist but the glory the art can return to our Father.

Mahalia Jackson did not compromise her relationship with Christ to make records. Her husband became so money hungry and wanted her to sing secular that she opted to divorce him because she refused to compromise. I can't say that Tasha Cobbs is compromising however Mahalia Jackson would not do secular music. For several years they tried to encourage her to do that however she stayed firm on her platform of exalting Christ through her music. Just wanted to talk about a little history gospel music

1. The bible is NOT clear. It becomes clear when you STUDY it, not read it at face value.
2. To be filled with the Holy Ghost you have to be saved and have a relationship with Christ (that's the only way to recognize it). How do you know Nicki isnt saved? How do you know that she doesnt have a relationship with Christ? YOU DONT!
3. You do know the Apostles sinned right? They werent perfect.
4. When did Jesus meet Paul? On the road to Damascus right? When he was a PHARISEE right? When he was PERSECUTING believers, right? Hmmm but didnt you say he brought them into ministry AFTER THEY CHANGED? Yet, that day changed Paul's live while he was still LIVING in sin! Please, I cant stress it enough, STUDY YOUR BIBLE dont just read it
5. Remember: Our goal is to save lives and the only way we can do that is to bring sinners to Christ. meaning, we have to expand our circle to include sinners! We have to build relationships so we can bring them to God

I love Tasha Cobbs and we have to take our opinion out and go with the scriptures. We not saying Nikki can't worship God but that doesn't mean that she should be in Tasha CD. We have to stay salty. We can mix darkness with the light . God loves everyone but that doesn't take away the scripture and instructions. What does light have in common with darkness. Believers we need to wake up and help each other in love but be honest . How can we win the world if we conform to the world. We still love them but we can't continue patting sin on the back. This doesn't mean Tasha isn't anointed but Nikki was not a good pick for her CD. This does not mean we don't love Nikki. When people use the world judge it's always to pamper sin. As a pastor why would you try to put down Christians that want to live right by saying they act like they're perfect when we're called to holiness? I disagree with what he's saying because the Bible never instructs us to engage unbelievers or people who are not saved into ministry with us.
I look at people like CeCe Winans who was able to be friends with Whitney Houston. CeCe Winans may have collaborated on a song with Whitney, but she did not invite her to lead worship with her on any of her tracks.
I'm tired of people saying "well look at such-and-such" and "look at this other person because they did ____, so that means you can't say this is wrong". That's far from logical. I honestly don't believe that the Lord told Tasha to do this. The Bible is very clear when it says that if we hear any Spirit say something and it does not line up with the Word, we cannot believe that it's from the Lord. Everything the Lord does will be in sync with His Word, and this does not make the cut.
It's also about time Christians stop using the word "judge" as if the Bible does not tell us to judge among ourselves (believers). The only place in the Bible where we are asked not to judge is if we are committing the same sins (or worse) or if someone is not a believer. People really need to read their Bibles and understand how this works. Additionally, judging has nothing to do with someone's behavior towards you. Judging is just making a decision. If people have made a decision about you, usually that doesn't affect anything. However, if they have a decision about you that makes them act a certain kind of way, then the issue is that they are acting a certain kind of way, not that a judgment was made. Their attitude is the personal problem. I can know that someone is not saved and still treat them with the utmost love and respect. I can also know someone is not saved and choose to look at them as if they are less than me. At all times I have to remember that I am nothing but dust, be humble, understand that I do not deserve salvation, and love that other person. However, I am not going to release a worship album with someone who is not saved.
Nicki Minaj has not shown any fruit of being saved. We have to stop with this new age mentality that we "don't know somebody's personal relationship with the Lord". The Bible also tells us that a saved person bears fruit. I'm not going to assume that someone is bearing fruit for the Lord and I see 0% of it. I hate that this is even a public discussion on here, because Nicki might actually be in the place where the Lord is getting ready to touch her. She's going to be seeing all of these comments and they come off as hateful. It's not coming out of a place of hate, but coming out of a place of order. EVERYTHING done for the Lord has to be done in order.
I believe that while Tasha may not have been told to release a worship track with Nicki Minaj, she may have been asked to befriend her and to love her. With no business transaction involved. No money to be made out of it. If I hear a spirit say something to me and I know it goes against what the word says, I'm just not going to do it. It doesn't matter how close I am to the Lord. The enemy can speak to anyone. The enemy tempted Jesus in the wilderness. What makes me feel I'm so above Jesus that it's not possible the enemy would try to make me do something contrary to God's will? There's no excuse.

Tinyan Odiase - these people are all telling fibs. They are not being sincere. They are all connected. John Gray is a secret Satanist and so is Nikki Minaj, and anyone else they approve of. They do not sincerely love God, Jesus Christ at all. They tell fibs to fool people into a kind of Christianity that is full of compromise, and they do it on purpose, they are all on each others' side. They just want money and control, they don't really care about anyone truly following God at all. They are in fact against it.

This is the reason why our churches became lukewarm for these same reasons. Yeshua sat with sinners because he saw they needed healing. He spoke told them to change from their sinful ways to seek after holiness and righteousness.

I am so glad that he said this!!!! People are so judgemental and that's why the black church is perishing and in dismay. I have been to so many churches and ALL are dying out because of closed minded thinkers. Who are we to tell someone that they can't worship God?!? Regardless of our sins. Yes, we all sin! Smh. Even those more holy than though Christians have skeletons in their closet. God has Continuously used the "least of thee" to do his work and bring people to Him.
