Funny because I'm a 90's kid, yet, for financial reasons, all I could play was emulators, specifically snes, gameboy and megadrive/genesis, which was all my old PC could run. So while friends, relatives, etc were playing their PS2, I was playing all these classics. I must say I'm grateful because I learned to love 8 and 16 bit games, and when I grew up and got a job I was also able to experience later generations. To this day I still have a soft spot for the 16-bit era RPGs. hahah
@@SugurainI feel you lol. I'm just like you after all. I'm also a 90's kid and I grew up with GBC and GBA emulator. I did have SNES, but I didn't have many games, FF included. While gameboy games don't have the shiny graphics like modern games, they are still my favorite. If anything, they always amaze me on how they can make such good games with that limitation.
I was born in 82 and I feel the same This game changed my life when it came out. The story was just so engrossing and filled with emotional moments - it literally blew me away and I was obsessed That golden age of square was something special
I'm a 2000s kid, grew up with games from the 80s and 90s... Always had a fascination for retro games and honestly? It feels like games just aren't the same anymore...
This piece is like the sister piece to Terra's theme . They both touch my heart in similar ways. I miss being 15 playing FF6...life wasn't the best during that time but these games allowed me to escape that.

It's like I'm flying out of Daryl's tomb for the first time all over again. The acoustic track that was played while walking down the stairs was great too.
Daryls Tomb theme was amazing Anyhow this game was just incredible A mix of being a privileged western kid who didn’t know any real fear or hardship, tucked away in my room with my SNES AND tv

Final Fantasy VI had a lot of firsts for me. First game that made me cry (multiple times), first game that made me fall in love with a "game" character and an antagonist that was beyond "good and evil. This is such a beautiful rendition it brings tears to my eyes, such beauty and passion. Music truly is the language of the soul.

@@Mcpblackheart I really enjoyed the strings, absolutely love the airship visual! gives me the feels but i anticipate that one low bass note. Sometimes you have to go up an octave to get all the notes in, of maybe you left it out on purpose... still thank you for making and sharing that 🙂
