Oh, how time flies... this one still hits hard.
I've been coming back to your Chrono Trigger covers every now and then for over 10 years.
I was listening to this video when I heard about the passing of Akira Toriyama...
Rest in peace to a generational legend :(

This song is already nostalgic on its own but to see that there's now stuff on YT that was posted 11 or 16 years ago... Like, I remember life at that point. It's strange, it's nostalgia within nostalgia and it kind of makes time not seem real at all. The internet can be a pretty amazing thing sometimes so thanks for reminding me of that and for this wonderful performance.

Chrono Trigger acoustic remixes are always so magical. This perfectly combines a melancholy tone with a relaxing one, creating an immersive atmosphere despite its simple nature. Really, this is phenomenal stuff.

The bass at 2:30 made it suddenly feel natively Japanese, and that's an awesome artistic touch for the arrangement.

This feels like the kind of song that'd play when two people have an argument, and one of them says something extremely hurtful and immediately realizes they've gone too far and tries to apologize. The second person, however, acknowledges it and explains a heart-wrenching backstory for why the insult is accurate, a tale of sadness and regret. The first person tries once again to apologize, having no idea, but their friend says to forget it, saying they both need to look towards the future, not back.

Seen this so many times now, it is their most viewed video, cause its simply the best, The feels you get from this vid is amazing, just close your eyes and escape reality for awhile, then come back every so often and do it again, cause reality can be hell sometimes.....I want these guys to succeed so i can go to one of their shows someday :)
