'The Casio is my occasional everyday watch'. That may just be the stupidest thing I have heard this year. So how does one wear a watch everyday and occasionally?
This watch runs on the Cal. MD19442, a simple quartz movement made by Miyota. Its accuracy seems to match what you’d expect from Casio watches, with other reviews mentioning it keeps time within ±15 to ±30 seconds a month. Solid and reliable for everyday wear!
backlight and strap are superior on the Q &Q . .(i have the ae 1200 with the resin strap, which sucks) but the digits are much better readable on the casio, and the overall look is more balanced on the casio.
Having owned both I can tell you that the Q&Q is a decent watch but the display seemed faded on my example. I was also not able to find out how long the battery lasts. I got mine for really cheap so that why I bought it and if you can get it for a good price it will serve you well.
how good is the QnQ steel? are they feel robust as casio resin or more cheaper like a chrome plated brass? I'm surprised that $15 watch offer stainless steel, not zinc or chrome plated brass like most watch under $30
Q&Q It has electroluminescence, Mineral crystal, the timer can be set to less than 1 minute, something Casio doesn't.Oh, and it's three times cheaper than a Casio.
Casio side by side with the Q&Q.. Although very similar, the Casio just out-does the Q&Q. It just looks more upmarket (if you can say that about cheap resin watches). There is just something very cool about the way the Casio stands out. It's like comparing 2 similar looking blokes wearing similar suits. One is well groomed and his suit is well ironed. The other is ungroomed, his suit is crumpled and does not fit. If the Q&Q was being sold for a single dollar I would not buy it. My Casio Royale is King...Long live the King.
Why do you write »Citizen« in the Title? Anyway, it's a bad rip off of the original with a poorly designed display. Apart from that, with the Casio you simply have many more options for modding the watch, be it stainless steel cases from SKXmod or various strap options. I wouldn't even consider buying this knock-off.
@@FrugalWatchBox oh, is QQ a Citizen Brand? Interesting, because i don't like their watches at all. Every piece looks like the cheapest aliexpress-crap for two bucks.

That’s my mistake for relying too much on AI.😊🙏
Hi, do you find the Q&Q's timekeeping to be more accurate than the Casio?

I’m with you on that-Casio nails everything except the price!
@@FrugalWatchBox still cheap for what it is/can do..
Seems to me that the digits on the q are rendered in a strange font.
I agree with you; that font is rarely seen. But I like the bluish display panel.

In my example, the Q&Q has a clear display, but the backlight is dim in real life, even though it looks good on camera.

The case is not stainless steel; it’s made of resin, comparable in quality to Casio’s.
their resin is comparable to casio -- though imo they tend to feel slightly softer than casio.
@StrongZeroPowerHour The resin strap seems to be tougher and better quality than Casio.
Where do you order Q&Q watches from?
It’s available on Lazada, but I’m not sure if it’s available in your country. s.lazada.com.my/s.mgfzm

The Q&Q watch features world time with 27 selectable cities, five alarms similar to those on Casio models, a countdown timer, and a stopwatch.

@WillAGG Totally, cheaper and packed with features is the way to go!

I respect your opinion and appreciation for the Casio Royale. In my review of the two, I found that the Royale is indeed superior.
I can't find this watch anywhere.
Try amazon.

This is not a knock-off. Please research Q&Q watches for more information.

The AI voice is unbearable.
I rely on AI because I don’t have a proper recording studio, and my dogs are always barking outside - you know what I mean.
