- I forgot to mention to shield flick after the backflip to prevent a sideroll.
if Link shifts off to the side during the end of the weirdshot and doesn't clip under or anything similar , your timing was off.
Message me on twitch for any questions.
5 years later, still helping noobs like me, thank you!
going on 7!
Thanks, Glitchy
surprisingly this gets easier doing it unbuffered, definitely recommend it if you can get the muscle memory down
YAAY! Finally made it! Thanks alot //Fatboyjumps :D after 3 Days of practising i finally got it when i watched your tutorial :D
best guide out there good sir
Skipped learning this buffered. Learning this unbuffered. Lol.
thanks man!! best tutorial for this
Weird shot seems hard until you really break it down
Nice thumbnail
I've tried doing this many times and just can't get it, idk if its because I'm playing on the wii U vertion of oot or I can't pause buffer correctly
Wii u pause buffering is awful in addition to having 4 frames of input lag. Thats your problem.
@@Glitchymon thanks man, do you know any pc emulators than can run the n64 version?

@@Glitchymon thank you lots once again
How do you continue to hold your shield out during the pause buffering? My shield gets put away after the first buffer.
check your distance and your timing, follow the video exactly. Shield shouldnt be auto put away unless you are too close to the bomb
@@Glitchymon I'm playing on the PC Port but i've also tried it on an emulator and the same thing happens. I'm thinking maybe its my controller. (PS4)
@@BorsPepsi Last Time I checked PC port has issues with Weirdshots. Emu should work fine although pause buffering on emu is generally bad.
@@Glitchymon Defiantly not a PC Port thing cause i tried it on an emulator and it did the same thing.
@@BorsPepsi I would say at this point since I don't really know what your issue is, I would recommend joining the Ocarina of Time Speedrunning Discord and post your Question There. You can post a video of what you are doing and someone will be able to point out what the issue is.
:D thanks
Same
OMG I DID IT ON PC CONTROLS
