I wish Roger health and happiness and a peaceful retirement. And, my deepest appreciation to you, Roger, for all the years of beautiful landscaping and expert advice.
I watched to the end. He is fantastic. I will miss Roger. As one with health issues I understand, and wish the very best. He has helped me. God Bless, and Stay Safe.
People need to stop with the covid virus nonsense he left the show actually before that even started getting really bad and the Delta variance wasn't even around back then to stop the nonsense everybody wants to blame this virus on everything
Godspeed to Roger and his family. A man who followed his passion, was damn good at it and earned a great living doing it, much respect for him. Hope he enjoys his retirement and that his health matters remain under control.
I was not surprised by his departure I had been telling my wife for near two years that Roger had something going on his movements told on him. Best wishes Roger you are missed.
May have nothing to do with cancer or parkinsons - as I have dealt with myself, it may be his gluteus medius and psoas which are deep and horribly painful and can hit the nerve that goes into your groin and scrotum and then up into your gut casing nausea - a trifecta of pain all at the same time! You can be stiff, or limp, or barely walk - but you feel like utter crap all over and folks really think you're at deaths door. Given all of his heavy lifting over the years, my bet it centers around that! You literally have a hard time carrying on!
@@larryh.4629 Thanks Larry. It was but thanks to a year of deep massage, the adhesions were broken up and I now just stretch the holy hell out of em! Happy Holidays to you and yours!
A reality is that all of the original contractors and hosts are now older and into the years where bodies start to show the wear and tear with reduced mobility. Roger was great. So was Norm, and the others. But, they are all retiring for the same reasons I have retired.... My body can not longer do what it did decades ago; or even a decade ago. I am sure that the show will find new younger competent contractors and hosts to fill the shoes of those that retire. I'm not complaining about my life at all. I've had a great life, did some really amazing things, very proud of some things I did, and assisted many people. I plan on doing more until the end, but it will largely be as a mentor and not as a physical worker; and part time at that. Time to spend a lot more time with my wife and friends.
I really don’t know where this cock and bull “censorship” thing came from, but I can bet it came from someone who never watched the show (like a UA-cam video creator…..). As mentioned, 35 years. That is a heck of a long time, and 3or 4 boatloads of great advice and great tips. All I can say to Roger, with all the sincerity I can muster, is “ Thank you”. As for anything else, for Pete’s sake, the man has asked his privacy be respected, so, leave him be, don’t speculate, and, if so inclined, keep him in your prayers!
I was always worry about Roger when he was working with his bare hands and handling all those chemicals and wearing no mask. Anyways, I wish him the best of health and happiness.
Yep. Well. We're all getting old. For me I've watched the show from the start. Good God that was a long time ago but not really. Time flys. Live life like it's going to end soon.......because it probably is when nuclear WW3 happens or who knows. A trip to the grocery store gets ya caught up in a mass shooting. Boing dead. Times have changed since the sane 80's. Today's world is insane and off the rails, off the hook, (add your own saying here). Lots of good news here eh.
Roger Cook was my favorite part of the show for many years. What a great man for all the shows.
I love Roger. Always a gentle but strong and stern personality! I wish him nothing but great health and happiness!

Blessings and good health Roger, we miss seeing you!
Thanks for all your wisdom and insight on landscaping throughout the years. Prayers and blessings to you Roger
My favorite segments on TOH were Rogers even though I'm a carpenter. Hardest working man on the show. Hope you're doing well Roger.
God bless Roger and his loved ones. Praying 🙏🏻 for you and thankful for you and all the gardening expertise you exhibited 🙏🏻🕊️

NOTHING BUT THE BEST FOR YOU ROGER. LEARNED SO MUCH FROM WATCHING ALL OUR PROJECTS ON THIS OLD HOUSE. THANK
I watched to the end. Being one year older I completely understand how this profession could take a toll on your body. Best of health, Roger.
I was not surprised by his departure I had been telling my wife for near two years that Roger had something going on his movements told on him. Best wishes Roger you are missed.
Yes it was his stiff movements that I first noticed also. I wonder if it is parkinson's

@@stevejensen3471 diggit. Next year gotta be better. Best to you.
I like how the creator of this video keeps saying,” please respect his privacy “ and then makes a 10 minute video titles “what’s wrong with Roger?”
I watched until the end and I always enjoyed the segments with Roger
Cook in them.
God bless you Roger Cook take care of yourself and be safe out there
All well wishes to the man and his family, and for the shows he worked on for so many years.
Load of bollocks that told us nothing we didn't already know
Peace and Healthy Wishes Roger…and Thank You🙏
What? This audio was worse than a skipping CD. Just talk next time or something better.
Interesting when you see footage of him while he's older, You can tell he's struggling a bit.
This is engaging work m8
His diagnosis isn't my business. But I truly miss him & the show just isn't the same 😢
I watched until the end. Prayers coming your way.
I sure we all miss you Roger. Good luck and thank you 🤗
This is killer work :)
Rodger I hang your picture up in my landscape trailer! Legendary landscaping hall of fame president
Incredibly thought out! Everything feels nice.

Really exquisite shot mate
This is cool work =)
Will the show survive when the original cast retires, or leaves the show.
Clickbait. You don't know any more about Roger's health than anyone else. You just wasted 10 minutes saying so.
I watched till the end...love Roger.
I think I'm crying. It's that neat.
Think you for informing me about the reason Roger is no longer with this old house
Love Roger's classic Boston accent!
I think I'm crying. It's that good.
The bad part about UA-cam. It’s all about getting monetized and likes by using click bait and none sense videos that don’t tell the real story!

No. He's on public access television. For all purposes he's a public figure. There is no privacy when you are that rich and that well known.
Radiant work you have here.
That Cook is not a chef but he has a wonderful way with greens.
Roger was great! Miss that guy but Jen is really great. Roger's accent caused many laughs when he came down South. "Tarp or Top?"
so much for respecting his privacy!!!!
That's slick and clean mate
Wow love it!
This idea blew my mind.
Sending prayers to you and your family Roger
It's admirable not just sublime!
I did watch to the end!

Incredibly gorgeous :)
i watched until the end.
God bless you Roger
Totally love and adore
Can’t we all get along.
Whatever happened to home time
I was always worry about Roger when he was working with his bare hands and handling all those chemicals and wearing no mask. Anyways, I wish him the best of health and happiness.
It was pretty obvious from his body movement (or lack of) that he had suffered a stroke.
He did say he used to smoke cigarettes so I hope that’s not catching up to him
I agree 100% with everything
'I watched till the end'
11 MILLION WILL GIVE HIM A COMFORTABLE LIFE? I need to move into your neighborhood!
Ole Rog didn't make that bankroll - his late wife grooved into her fathers insurance business and made massive bank before she passed.
Please lay off the drugs my friend, because they're really bad for your health.
Yeah, I can tell you never watched the show, it's Richard tra-though-we not Richard threth-away...
I hope Roger is doing well I learned a lot from him. Thank you Roger
Good luck Roger and God bless you will and are miset
In Spanish, ll is pronounced as y not as an l, as in Bob Villa...
No Respect for Bob Villa
The synthesized voice narration is ridiculous. Get an actual human being! Please.

He probably has some type of cancer, ,,I love roger,,and wish him well
It's appealing not just nice!
Missed pronounced Richards last name...lol
It lost its informative how to style years ago.
What wrong tell us not all this other garbage.. geeze.. stop it..
It makes me laugh...
He is off. Like really off and arrogant at times.
That's not nice to say about Roger Cook. Bob Villa always thought his shit didn't stink.
