In this video, I show you how to easily prevent water damage from a sump pump that breaks … for under $20. A sump pump failure could leave you with a potential flood in your finished basement with thousands of dollars of damage; my solution alerts you so you know exactly when your sump pump stops working so you can address the problem before the rising water floods your basement. I show you how to use the inexpensive Basement Watchdog water monitor as an alarm to alert you of a sump pump failure. This solution is an easy and cheap DIY project almost anyone could do.

You need a clamp on check valve on this to make it easy to switch pumps really quick 👍👍👍🙏✅

Interesting, I clicked on it because of the $20. Now I have some questions. I don't see a union or boot in your piping, how do you change your pump? What good is the alarm when you are at work. I put in two pumps in just in case one failed.

@@FlimsyIndo I'm in PA...no we didn't try either of those, lol. Just relaxed, did some tours and went sightseeing...really was just glad to get away for a week...so nice!
If your not home you have solved nothing. Put in 2nd pump with alarm ,problem solved. You say you are going to call the warranty company to get it replaced. What are you going to do when your basement is flooding while it takes days for the warranty company to get someone out to do replacement which will be days if not weeks.
