Just be forewarned. I have the same car with 775 wheel and I have the R2's on mine as well. I got caught in the rain coming home from a car show and the car hydroplaned while I was trying to pull into the emergency lane to wait out the rain. I was going coasting at 45 and the slight turn to get in the emergency lane was enough to send the back end out. So, do not trust those tires in the rain. Just some advice from one gt500 owner to another.
Hey brotha, thanks for the input, I still haven’t got caught in the rain as the car has been stuck on jack stands haha but that’s very good to know! Thanks for the warning and advice!
Need to get those Eibach springs in But after watching you lower the car is looks lowered Just got a 14 for Christmas and it also looks like you have headers but your 700 wheel bro
Yeah, I had already installed the eibach springs before I did this video so it was definitely lowered in this video. Also, I have not put the headers on the car but the 750 stamp that Hennessy put on the car is more related to the crank hp, and I’m sure they rounded the numbers up a big chunk. I feel like the car actually makes around high 700 to the wheel. I think once I put the headers on and get another tune it should definitely be 750 wheel range. I ran into some health issues so I prolonged the install but I do plan to get back to it soon.
@@210SpeedClinic just got a 14 for Christmas I sold my 13 2 years ago … so this is my 3rd gt500 and I’m gonna keep it this time …. I have kooks headers and cai and I’m at 680 … you’re definitely at the same power as me if not more ..!!! I like the set up … I have springs and a Panhard … but I need LCA .. any more plans for the car ??
@@mach183 that’s awesome bro and funny story is that this is my 2nd GT500. I owned another ‘13 black on black 4 years ago and sold it to have 2 terminators but after a while I really started to appreciate the Shelby so I picked this one up in 2022. My main plans are to get these ARH headers and x pipe on really. After that I would love the sound of some cams but it’s a real pain to install cams on these cars VS an LS lol
@@210SpeedClinic bro keep the car it’s a gem 💎…. So me and you both know the pain and struggle of a 4v motor it’s sucks !!!! I’m very humbled to also own a c7z06 heads cam and let me tell you it’s hard to believe 1 cam can sound like that lol 😂!!!! Very simple and sounds bad ass !!!
@@mach183 oh yes bro, it is definitely a pain. I installed a Texas Speed stage 3 cam kit with titanium valve springs, Trunion bearing kit, push rods, melling high pressure oil pump and headers full exhaust on my father in law’s LS3 Camaro and my God it sounded amazing! This was about 3 years ago I think. Those c7z06’s are gorgeous. I also used to own a c6 z06 with cam, full exhaust, and intake and I felt that thing was a rocket ship haha
Putting in that work!
You already know playa!!!
fire video 🔥 clean gt 👀
Thanks bro and Yeah I heard it’s getting a Coyote swap next! 👀
Very nice car!
Like the BMR stuff. Not familiar with white line.
Glad your happy with it.
What were appropriate costs for parts? Thanks!
Thank you brotha! It was around $600 for all the parts so very affordable. I got all the parts on eBay.
Nice work!
Thank you brotha!!
