That Ghost Girl of Glitch City story was fantastic, I've never heard of that character before. It's amazing that she has two water types as well, as if she were going to the Burned Tower to help put the fire out. 😢
if you compare the GSC map for Violet City & that of the Ruins of Alph, this lost house fits in the location of the house between the 1st & the 2nd cave entrances. the 2 signs even line perfectly with those in the Ruins of Alph.
While I knew about the G/S/C Glitch City for years, I didn't know of the Ghost Girl until a friend on Discord brought her up to me when I made a joke about how Glitch City was basically "The Original Backrooms". I actually forgot about the Firebreather in the Burned Tower that turned monochrome when you beat him, though even as a kid, I always wondered why that happened. Perhaps he was covered in ashes? I also never knew that in Gen 2, Only Unown I and V could be shiny, just when I thought I knew everything about the Gen 2 games.
Unknowns have always been fun to look into, I love the theory about them being coding of the universe and acting as the gateway between our world and theirs.
In the anime episode where they literally line up in to the word for the thing they want, and then that thing materializes is as close to “the coding of the universe” as any other possibility
Man this is actually my favorite channel on UA-cam. The content quality is top notch. I can't wait to watch this channel blow up with subscribers because this channel really deserves it.
Cara is just a random trainer from Dragon's Den with the same team as the Ghost of Glitch City. I'm sorry but the Ghost of Glitch City is just a random trainer with no trainer data, so it picks it from pre-existing trainers.
There is a theory that the unknown are the Pokemon version of angels, I would love to have a legends game given us more information on mew and give it a new form based on the ancient mew image we see a lot with mew.
The truck was originally for size scale imo and became a running gag. There is that one booth at the game corner where 'someone left their car keys' so I have heard it proposed that it was a fetch quest to reboard the S. S. Anne or even travel to Johto before it was 'saved for later'. I doubt this as there is no item in the files that correlates these. The Bellsprout evolution wasn't a 4th evolution, it was a split evolution like Bellossom. It would have used a cut poison stone to evolve, like Umbreon before it was changed to dark type. I don't know about this house? I literally have never heard of it, can you link more info? I'm curious as there is unused map data labeled 'haunted house' in GSC, but no correlating overworld data at all. Also it was DV's in gen 2, so most certainly a coincidence. But still hilarious, it does make it seem like Unown are sort of the 'code' of the world. Another nice video, though! I'm not critiquing I swear.
Gold is renamed as Ethan in HGSS while Kris just Straight up became a new Character They originally probably planned to use just Kris But decided against In other words, Lyra was always Kris
The obvious answer to the unaccible house in violet city is that it's the same unown resarch lab in the ruins of alph but gamefreak used an illusion to make it seem like it's part of violet city.
@@dudono1744 from Gamespot: " The reason for this is, in part, because Mew was actually a last-minute addition to the games, programmed in at the eleventh hour--without Nintendo's knowledge--as a "prank." what's the background music during the kanto mysteries portion of the video? it sounds so familiar... edit: specifically when he's talking about the whole mew truck rumor
While Mew isn't under the truck, I'd like to ask why the heck it's at least on Nugget Bridge through what is surprisingly a safe glitch for your game - was it meant to pop up there? Did they mean to leave it in? Did they even react when they found this out? I just want answers but I feel I won't get any on this lol, Mew truly is a cryptid
Every pokemon in existence at the time, including pokemon planned for gold and silver, can be obtained with this glitch. It’s not just the bridge, with fly you can make this appear on a lot of more places.
It has to with the data associated with the Pokémon of the trainer you triggered the glitch. A certain value just correlates with the internal ID of Mew and therefore by tricking the Game is able to generate it. I think it was the game remembering there's still a battle that should have begun in that area and therefore brute forcing you into an encounter once you reenter. Nugget Bridge just happened to be a place where it's the most feasible. That way you can use all sorts of trainers to generate every Pokémon coded into the game by the same method. I think there's even multiple trainers in the game able to generate Mew, but the one mentioned earlier is just the most practical to trigger this glitch

@MrMitchbow that's fair but movies and anime aren't cannon to the games unfortunately, completely separate multiverses.

I hate that they got rid of Kris. Atleast she's in Masters.

Unown are dark matter basically, that's why they appear with Arceus.
S. S. Anne could be the ghost ship in Gen 3
the music is going CRAZY
What is the music?
How can you say leaving map assets like that was unprecedented after literally discussing the truck, which was a leftover map asset. XD

But tales of Karim, what about Steven Stone? I love Steven Stone,
3:39 that boat is sinking so hard
0:52 if its the “new species” pokemon that would make it just recently evolved, not the oldest?
Do you make these animations yourself?
what if the "Glitch City" is the Pokemon World of the Back Room and the girl there is some one trapped in the Back Room
With Mew, it was actually added last minute as a joke or something like that, then Gamefreak decided to leave it in.
The point being, I think Mew is "New Species" in the PokeDex because it was secretly added.
It was put there to make rumors and sell the game. And it succeeded.

does anyone know what the unown at 8:08 mean?

This video is from where? (3:02)
All animations are done specifically for the video
