Well i am hoping this is the last video on mk4 for awhile, so work can resume on the ST220 now. So the Mk4 is now MOT ready, i hope lol. But now back to the ST220 content.
Great video ,a couple of things though,I use a wire brush to clean the hub and bolts so the disc fits true and also anti size compound on the ends of the pads other than that great vidio
my thoughts exactly uneven wear maybe due to dry guides i would have unbolted the caliper aswell and greased the slide bolts aswell as pad ears and as youve changed the discs and pads he might aswell of changed the two pad guides aswell
Great video bro i would of just put a new caliper on that one side if not both as they have done a fair few miles part from that great work love and kisses mwah
Learnt from that one 😂😂 just common sence pal to do the retaining screw first, also if forgotten just get bar between the studs then take it off some of these UA-cam mechanics seriously 😂😂😂😂

You don’t have to take off hand brake cable for this job?

I always do the slider pins on all my brakes I suspect the pins in this video were bone dry and haven't been greased myself
When i do them again and got more tine there getting a full strip down and clean.
Hi Chazz
I just bought a 1.8 tdci 2009. I just learned it has a wet belt. Have you done yours?
Hiya, its on the list to do.
I've just bought all the bits to do mine. Converting to chain.

Nice video thànks
👍👍👍
Went to change mine and the disc is practically welded to the hub. Spent over an hour trying to get it off but no luck.
Use heat and penetrating fluid.soak it for a while it will come off
you didn't even clean the hub....
I like the video but don't spoil it by speeding it up
