In my opinion. I think Linkin Park and Amy Lee could write their own songs together and play them on tour along with doing covers of Linkin Park originals.
Well, she has the power but not the scream, imo.

We don't actually know if she can't scream. Wouldn't be the first singer who knows how to do it but just does not do it in their own music.

It's funny that people said her voice wouldn't fit in Linkin Park songs. If you check out Evanescence's Fallen instrumentals (without vocals) or their old demos, they sound just like Linkin Park.
The word "instrumental" implies a lack of vocals, but thank you just the same for the clarification.
Amy is an icon. Not just one of the best female singers, but one of the best singers. She truly is very talented.

That was in the beginning when she was really fighting to give her band an identity.

When I was in middle school, Linkin Park and Evanescence were my two favorite bands at the time. They were my gateway metal bands, and I'm sure the same could be said for many other people. So if the two were to ever collaborate in any way, that would probably be one of the biggest musical events of this generation.

It's ironic how first Linkin park and Evanescence work apart so that Evanescence won't be considered LP's copy and then many years later they're considering hiring her as a singer. A whole conspiracy is going round about who will be the singer. I heard some UA-camrs read an article about LP hiring a female singer from Japan.

She has the range just didn't in past but she can scream and grow not better or worse just new and fresh they could always sample Chester's voice to keep him in band who now's up to band to disided what's best for them LP was going in pop direction anyway so might be for best in the end

I think Amy Lee would be a good fit for Linkin Park and I mean permanently. She has a great vocal range and I think fans should give her a chance. This most likely will never happen but it's just a thought.
I am a huge fan of linkin park and while no one could ever replace Chester I would like the band to carry on in his memory. I would be interested in a tribute concert to Chester and it would be very interesting to hear some new stuff by LP and Amy is a powerhouse when it comes to her vocals and range, we'll just have to see where this goes. RIP Chester, we love you and you are missed.

Best pick would be Bobby Amaru from Saliva. Ticks all the boxes. Hes worked with Mike Shinoda and is currently the replacement singer of a known touring band so he'll blend right in. He also has his own style

you can't say it won't work, Mike could take what he's been doing recently to the stage, visiting cities, covering LP with random artists, people would pay to see it, some have done pretty decent, and if its all in the name of fun, remembering the good times with LP, you're the one gonna be left out.

Amy Lee would be a great choice. Why? There are AMAZING singers who have filled the void for bands that have had their singers pass away like Jeff Gutt (STP) and William Duvall (Alice In Chains) and their voices aren’t alarmingly dissimilar from the original. A lot of you STILL complain about those guys. At least with Amy Lee, she doesn’t sound anything like Chester Bennington. Btw: as an AIC and STP fan since the beginning, I think their best records are the recent ones 🤘
I could see a collaboration album in the future with her. Maybe they can do something like Reanimation, but instead of remixes they write original songs featuring an artist on each individual track? Maybe 15 tracks or something?

it's funny because the label was pushing Amy to make Ev be more like a rock rap thing at the start with BMTL, what was LP if not alt rock or numetal.. RockRap. So for her to join a band like that now.. mmm.. unless they want to change it up a lot because both bands had labels trying to change them in the early years, i dont see it happening just for the hell of it.

Not sure it would work. Guest appearances would be great, but to perform all of Chester's vocals would be a challenge for most.

It would be pretty rad if they brought in my buddy Bobby Amaru (he sings for Saliva) and his daughter Vada. They have a TikTok and cover songs. Mike brought them in to do some songs for TikTok. I’ve known Bobby since the late 90’s and dude is talented and his daughter is only around 12 and has an amazing voice.

Was hoping they would tour with Chester as a backing track with Mike, but yeah. As much as I don't want a new singer, I'd prefer it to be a male and someone who doesn't replace chester but compliments his legacy.
I think Linkin Park should do a reunion with Amy Lee from Evanescence someone posted a comment that she has killed it on vocals 20 years after fallen came out.

No disrespect to Amy, she's great at what she does. LP has a seriously hard core fan base, and Chester was a once in a lifetime singer/person that hit hard and deep with so many people I don't think he can ever be ever be replaced.
I've recently seen videos with Mike & Brad talking about the release of upcoming album featuring the remixes. My takeaway is they are slowly sorting out their next steps moving forward in away that's respectful to Chester.
I think LP & Amy should record a song, put it out and gage fan reactions. I'd listen and form an opinion from there. It's possible it might turn out ok; but I don't think she's a good permanent choice.

I think the band would want to look forward and make new music. Amy joining "part time" would be more of the tribute thing, and I think LP would rather want to make new imprints on the industry in a new era.

I can’t say that i feel same enthusiasm for this idea. Amy Lee has a beautiful voice but I don’t see it and can’t say the thought of it excites me the least bit. L p I’m sure will make beautiful music if and when they come back but I think if they do it will be a completely new LP and every thing I loved about the music will be everything they want to be opposite and different in the future . I di bit thing they will sound anything like LP and it will be completely new for all of them.

I see a lot of doubt about her ability to do Chester’s stuff and I discount it. She’s got chops and could pull it off. At least that is my take and I am always right.
I don't know if Amy lee could pull it off she has a bit more of a smoother emotional voice. Chester's was gravelly and high, but we'll see how things go.
I am up for a show to see how it goes but we just need some live linkin park but it want be the same without CHESTER!
