These stories boggle my mind. How hard is it for these Karen’s to be decent human beings?
And the thing that confuses me most is how the people who deal with them keep their cool.

Alex R0x Man, if I had a kid and someone did this to them I’d knock their teeth in. When I was in high school, I was about 15 and my sister was 6 and a kid on my soccer team made fun of the way she spoke and I don’t think I’ve ever reacted so quickly in my life. I sent a right hook directly into his jaw and he crumbled like the sack of shit that he was, his mother came over and started screaming at me until I explained what happened and the look that she gave him looked like it burned his damn soul into ash. He apologized the next day, face swollen and bruised for what he did and we were kosher throughout the rest of high school.
Now granted, this was shortly after my sister really began taking because she had SEVERE seizures up until she was 5 and has dandy-walker which impeded her learning and speech. Now, I’m 23 and she’s 14 growing like a weed, still has a speech impediment but there isn’t a thing in this world that I wouldn’t do for her. She has a family of dudes who adore her, all around 6’4 so I think it would be in their best interest to be nice and that’s not even mentioning her classmates who love her for how sweet she is to everyone that she meets

I did actually find the original post and the updates. EM got taken down HARD! She got 6 months in jail, her husband is filing for a divorce (apparently she is habitually violent), and her daughter and husband are running as far away as they can.
"Did I know what kind of day she'd had? It had started the day before." are the most epic two sentences I've ever heard.
An update on the last post
"Tl;Dr:" entitled mom was on trial for abuse against a small person's / the Child Abuse Act of 1933.
The MamaBear agreed to be a witness for the situation, entitled mom was trying to claim that OP and her daughter stole the trays and cakes from entitled mom and she was simply trying to retrieve what was hers, sadly there were no cameras capturing the tray area however entitled mom had many contradictions in her defense.
Ops lawyer said entitled mom was facing 12 to 18 months in prison however the verdict came and entitled mom I got six months in prison and a huge fine.
Entitled mom's husband and daughter came to the trial to apologize for entitled Mom's behavior to OP.
Entitled mom's husband revealed that this was the final straw and that entitled mom was known for this type of behavior and abusive to the family at their home, him and his daughter are taking this as an opportunity to divorce entitled mom and move far far away.

Unfortunately, the system doesnt do much to child abusers. Typically, child abusers get out in about a year after they're imprisoned. At least, going by what I've read of some cases online.

That last story is technically assault on a child, which might be worse than child abuse. anything with assault, is almost always worse
There are four things which are considered harmful to children: 1. Physical abuse; 2. Emotional abuse; 3. Neglect; 4. Sexual abuse.
There was a study done a while back which tried to quantify how much harm was caused by each of these, and how they interacted with each other.
The really weird thing was that although most of the actions exacerbated each other (caused more harm than one alone), as a general rule mixing sexual abuse in with another type of abuse reduced the amount of measured harm done.
The study was peer-reviewed, so the methodology and procedures used during the study are pretty much beyond question. Only the results are in question.
Obviously, a lot more study is required to find out what's going on, and why such results were obtained.
I hope that Jafar was in character. I'd pay money to see that.

With that last story, what happened to her that she literally lost all her self respect and outright assaulted a child. You need to be at rock bottom to assault an innocent child just trying to enjoy their birthday.

I don’t think that’s the real reason. After all, you can walk around in an air liner no problem. It will affect the trim but that is mostly being corrected automatically.
I was told that they want to know where each person is sitting as it makes identification easier in the event of a crash.

After that one is just a murderer (in your heart of hearts), no matter how "emotionally justified" the hate crime was.

The thing is not your body. What you do as an adult (especially when it's calculated maim and murder), you'll be responsible one way or the other. What's good for the thing ultimately, what's good for you?
Sure, there's cases and situations as many as there are humans. But nowadays it seems the understanding for terms such "self-defense", "sexual harassment" etc. are so easily twisted beyond absurd, turned upside down. I guess we're lacking the more common grounds, the common sense. It is what it is.

Yeah, Comic Con is literally going somewhere in a costume, and you aren't made fun of, some people with more experience will critique you, and tell you how to make your costume better, and if you go in public people will either ignore you or tell you they like your costume, even if it is a lie. If you go to Comic Con you aren't caring about being bullied by a Karen and her kid.
And no one is forced to cosplay either. People do it as professionals or newcomers, for fun or to compete, strictly by canon or getting imaginative. And anyone can cosplay anything even if they don't necessarily look like the character.
