well considering they've been voicing these characters for over 10 years. you cannot be surprised plus Patrick Seitz (Ragna) directed this and got everyone to come to Funimation's studio to do the acting.
@the_supern0va238 thats always a good sign for an English cast in a Japanese game. They loved their roles and wanted to keep playing them for god knows how long
I mean I love the anime as do you know how hard it is to understand Bkazblue's first two games in terms of plot given the multiple routes. Plus I never player CT and only played CS2 on ds from borrowing it from a friend. It's almost current kingdom hearts level of convoluted due to time travel and closed routes.
I watched this show around 4-5 times and debating another rewatch next week XD I call it a "BlazBlue Phase" and it happened like three times this year XD
I'm going to enjoy watching the anime in full, but I love how Ragna sees the child collapse in a cloak and the look on his face screams, "Motherfuckin'....plothooks, leave me the HELL alone!"
I do wished we got a conuniation of Blazblue anime granted I know CP is a huge game even if I haven't played it and given how CF is a repeat of CT with some diferences and more characters to juggle around for a good portion if I recall.
Not fan of dubs, but the only dub that I don't mind... (And thanks to the games that allows you hear your opponent's language selected). Also, that first fight against Hakumen is just how all of us looks when not being wary of his parrys and pressures...
If there's one thing i hate about the anime is how ragna treated noel. Like after the hot spring and started traveling together when they were getting attacked by monster noel summoned her guns to fend them off then ragna lashed out on her without her understanding why, and he was never like that in that games especially in CS I mean i think it would've been alright if he would've apologize to her like in CS where after meeting lambda or maybe mu 12 getting angry at him (and probably without knowing why) which would cause ragna to think back and regret on how he treated her back then and would try apologize to her to try to make things right with her
That's anime in a nutshell. and I still love it given its a good and entertaining summary of CT and CS which I never played. Well CT at least I haven't.
