Here's what I have to say to that, by the way; there are things you can not control. Mental conditions are one of them, especially when someone as close to you as your family is being an asshole to you and making you sad. I am all for accountability, but this is extremely hypocritical coming from someone who does not take accountability for anything. Losing his patreon, being audited by the government for taxes, allegations of rape and grooming, lobbing false accusations, all of which he has partially blamed others for. He can't ever be wrong, he can't ever apologize for how he makes people feel.

yeah- i'm white as fuck and just from looking at black hair i can tell its way different. I also learned a while back that black hair can be slightly curly or REALLY curly (which i thought was cool) but obviously that factors into how you wash it. i think? plus no one knows your own hair better then yourself

Why does no one talk about the Shiloh drama? He cheated on his wife with Shiloh when she was 17 and then divorced his wife for her. They lied about her losing her memory and thinking she was 15 and thinking he kidnapped her. They lied about her having sepsis. They lied about her being pregnant and then said she miscarried and stole a photo of a miscarried baby and said it was theirs. He filmed her while she was emotionally distressed and posted it on YT. They got back together after the Adrienne thing and made a video about her having a stinky vag apparently. They said they were engaged and then broke up again. The Shiloh drama is when I witnessed his major decline. Why does no one ever mention it in videos like these?

People hate prayers because it's a zero effort thing which gets thrown around a lot. A country gets struck by a terrible natural disaster? Why donate or even travel there to help? Just say "thoughts and prayers" and move on. It's the same sort of garbage as Facebook activism where people aggressively share various "woke" memes and believe they're really making a difference. With that being said, as a former Christian I understand why people do it and I'm not gonna hate them because of it. I just shrug and think to myself, "worthless".

Personally, I unsubscribed from Onision because of the way he used to make me feel about myself (and the awful things he’s done of course). I remember being 12/13(?) years old and obsessing over his ‘rating girls bodies’ videos- where he would say whether he thought a girl’s weight was attractive or healthy and what not. I hated my body for such a long time and I still struggle- and honestly I think those videos influenced that mindset deeply. I remember debating wether to send a picture of myself in but didn’t (thank goodness) because I was scared that I was ‘too fat’.
Onision made me feel so bad about myself, yet I always wanted to watch more of his videos. I don’t know if it was intentional (most probably) but it manipulated my thoughts.

As an atheist I can tell you what he did when Christina passed was so disgusting. People were grieving and showing their sadness and support for her. What he did was just horrid.

He basically criticized two innocent people not long after they died, essentially making fun of them.
Christina (I unfortunately don't know her last name) was a victim of murder, whilst the other girl Amanda Todd committed suicide from being a victim of humiliation and bullying.
They were both really young people too, with (I assume) Christina being in her 20's whilst Amanda was just a teenager, possibly around 15 years old.
What makes Christina's death especially more tragic was that she was Christian. Most of her friends and family were offering their condolences and praying for her soul in heaven.
But Onision straight up said that "God doesn't care" and rudely criticized people, including her, for their religious beliefs.
I'm sure it's common knowledge that we should respect people for who they are, and what their beliefs may be. But nope, that's not who Onision is.
He took an extremely tragic event and just passed it off as something unimportant.
He was very open about it on his social media too, saying a lot in in-sensitive and straight up rude things regarding their deaths. It's quite revolting.

Child services do not need evidence to start an investigation, they don't WANT you to wait if you have genuine concerns about a child. Find a way to get into contact with someone, you can even do it anonymously.

I have been falsely accused, and CPD always dropped in on our house, especially since my siblings and I are all adopted. It's incredibly stressful, the whole situation caused by one disturbed individual we adopted at an older age, and she had a troubled past we were unclear about. But I still stand by contacting someone if you have a hunch; it's worth it to protect children. I've seen firsthand how it destroys a life and mind, more than a false accusation ever could.

You missed the part where he started dating his now wife BEFORE she turned 18 and basically ushered her out of the state she was from due to the laws of where he was from let him go on and marry her without her parents' consent. OH, and when she was having a mental health break down and he filmed her and gaslit her to no end.
You talked about his "professional" mistakes, but IMO, it's the stuff in his personal life that really fucked him over.
Lainey was 17, of legal age to be in a relationship, and when they didnt even meet in person until they were 18 and didnt sleep together until Greg had confirmation from both of lainey's parents that they were 18. Lainey asked him if they could move in with Greg where Greg lived because they were already planning on going to college there and they didn't want to be around their abusive ex anymore. So he let them move in with him after they turned 18 and he had proof from both their parents.
And it wasnt lainey who had the break down. It was another ex who threatened to frame go, for her murder when she killed herself because she didnt want to leave. 5 months after their break up the girl was declared mentally unstable by a court in California because she was stalking someone who looked similar to Greg and forced herself on that guy and her confession included the statement "no, thats Greg, I know him anywhere. I know everything about him, there is no way id make that mistake." and attempted to use that as justification for what she did.

@@Drummerette9689 no, he was in a relationship with a 17 yr old (legal age of consent to be in a relationship) and only slept with them after it was proven they werent a minor. And married them when they were 20 which is an adult. Its was all legal.

He was hesitant about it because they looked (and still do look) younger than they actually are but after confirmation of age, he did say ok he'd give them a try. Lainey, to this day, is still the one that initiates most things.

My point is that you shouldn't tell a victim of abuse that it is their own fault, onision reacts to things different, just like me and you, but at the end of the day you don't tell someone who previously tried to kill themselves that it is their own fault, you act more sensitive.

Onision's video blaming depressed people for their depression unsettles me to no end. I cannot shake the thought that Onision could have indirectly caused the death of people with that video.
I personally stopped being a fan of onion way back when his banana video became a big thing. I was a lonely kid, maybe 11, I didn't like having friends because I had shitty choices in friends. And my home life was...difficult. I was undiagnosed with Persistent Depressive Disorder and anorexia. I was considering suicide. I grabbed at a very stupid weak straw, I messaged his Facebook page asking advice on my situation. He told me I was stupid for going to the wrong page for asking his help and to learn to read. He also made me feel like shit for my depression and eating disorder. Kinda broke my image of him and I began to see his flaws.
Jesus Christ. I am so sorry.
