Thank you for your video. I have exactly the same issues with my Tanks fuel tank. I’m building a 1932 Highboy roadster, starting with an original chassis. The issues I have is the front of the tank is interfering with the cross member, the holes for the fitting don’t line perfectly with the holes in the chassis but it isn’t so bad. I also have to make clearance on the both side and last but not least, I can’t fit my spreader bar. I have interference with it. It’s a 2 inches bar. So I have to make a 1 1/2 bar.
Nice to see this. It's been a problem forever. The drain cock boss is missing most likely because drains in fuel tanks are not allowed. Replacement tanks don't have them. The Vintique tank probably predates the regulation enforcement as a reproduction of original as opposed to a replacement.

Different tanks use different gas caps too. My tanks tank won't fit my lockable gas cap.
