    Hey Jules when you draw a picture of table with a cup and teapot. Is there a way to learn(I guess its called deception or something like that) my mind is a blank.

      I think it’s a question of practice and getting used to your style. I usually advise people to find and artist or a style that they like, and try to copy it to figure out how they did it. UA-cam is a good resource because you can watch artist processes.

      @@JulesMarriner Hello Jules oh I am so happy you took the time to square things out with me. Hugs. I also wanted to ask you about your big course. Please dont badly of me but do you ever have a sale on it. I am asking cause as is, its pricey for me with currency involved. Or do your other smaller courses have more info also? I did try to find more info but no. Again thank you from the bottom of my heart for your time.

    Thank you Jules once again for another helpful video. I'll have to check my self-published Children's picture books to see if I applied this useful piece of advice at the time of writing them 😋. I knew this technique when I did a creative writing course for adults but I may have overlooked it when I started writing and illustrating Children's picture books 😂 But then again I was focussing on the illustrations to tell the story more than the text. Hopefully I got the balance right 😅❤❤

    brilliant video ! kudos to you !
    P.S. is it a good idea to join a writer Club or be part of a writing school ?
    is there any concern about revealing your story ideas to colleagues and mentors ?
    forgive my paranoia. :-)

      Yes good idea to join a club. I know it’s easy to worry about your ideas being used, but I think you should be true to yourself and write your stories and tell people. I do have a video called Explaining Copyright to my Dogs which might help.

    What nanou nanou means?

    • @JulesMarriner
      @JulesMarriner  3 роки тому

      It’s from a show called Mork and Mindy. Mork is an alien (Robin Williams) and he says Nanu Nanu instead of goodbye. Robin Williams = legend.
