This is a great series and very detailed!
I am wondering... is a video missing on the Playlist? between the F4Fs and Buffalo intercepting bombers headed to Midway (Ep7), and this video about the American carrier attack (Ep9), I was expecting to hear about the waves of ground based planes attacking the Japanese carriers(ep8?)

Midway was a day of reckoning for the Japanese. Their "undefeatable invincibility" had a rude awakening as four Japanese Carriers sank in the Pacific and the lost of many of their best crews and pilots would never be replaced.

@50 mins, the machinist mate here is Bruno Peter Gaido who was un-named. What a shame, its given such brief note. The author probably doesn't want to dwell on it given the captain who ordered the 'disposal' was hunted for the war crime but had not survived to the end of war.

Fujita was in sick bay with appendicitis But the day of the launch he went to the flight deck to see the planes off. It saved his life since sick bay was a trapped by the fire after the bomb hit on Akagi.
