    Another brilliant video, it's brought yet another wide smile to my face! I love the way that Summer and Sander make the guests feel at ease in front of a camera which makes the sharing of their joy so genuine and effortless. The camerawork just makes you feel like you're part of the tour and conversation - so wonderful!

      Yeah brilliant. 100% of cuttings in mulch rot. He picked up a potted rose. Okay, dump it out and show us the trunk is not cloned. Oh no, I see.

    I have a rambler rose dark pink scented it is over 100yrs old. My grandmother had it in her garden. And I cherish this rose. I know how sentimental we can get with roses.

    Like your videos. Great practical advice 👍. Liked the English accent and the background walls and structures.
    You have a lot of space. I don't. I have a shrub rose 🌹 plant. Flowering well with pale yellow flowers. However i have pesky beetles on the underside of the leaves making holes. Any advice ?

    Loved this episode, dying with those white Sander roses. And I love that story, there is a painting called roses of Heliogabalus that illustrates the particular moment where the guests drown in the petals. Heavenly way to die XD hahahaah. hugs from Colombia

    Is there any chance that a rosé without thorns will be developed? I wanted to start a new rose garden area, but after I pruned my roses before the winter, I was ripped to shreds and thought, I must be crazy to want more!

      thornless roses have been a "thing" for awhile now. Zéphirine Drouhin is a good example of one

    after the cuttings have rooted what kind of soil is recommended for up potting? Also, did you do a follow-up video on the Sanders cutting? Did it survive?

    Drives me crazy that in the garden world, they call lavenders and purples, a BLUE!! Why not just call them the color they actually are???

    I love seeing Lee's rose garden, I would love to have one just like it. I used to have a rose called Blue Moon, it was a pale bluish lavender, one of my favourites. "Knee pits" describes this summer perfectly! LOL

    This was just full of information. I’ve been trying to propagate a red rose for years without success. Now I’m going to wait till after the first flush. I’ll have to watch again and write everything down! Thanks 🙏🏻

    I noticed his Night Blooming Cereus when you were at his table. If you don’t know this plant, look it up! My plant just bloomed and I feel it is in close competition with any rose in beauty and fragrance!

    40 years ago I purchased an old ocean home and the old garden, which I have melted up, has a small pink fringe rose and a tiny yellow rose. You have given me enough help to do some cuttings of both

    Pots are made of "cheap" plastic. Keeping them away from sunlight during storage, prolongs their lifespan.

    Put a mask on when using perlite. It's very hard on the lungs!!!! Nursery safety first! Wet it down first to keep the glass dust down. Did you hear him cough and clear after filling that pot?!

    Absolutely fascinating! I have rooted a climbing rose about 40 years ago. But I did it a little differently so I think your method is easier. I want a cutting from a rose that grows next door to my mother‘a home. Thank you for your encouragement!

    Lee is a wealth of information, thanks for this video. But the lady is a bit annoying interrupting him - all the “right,” “yeah,” and constant comments when he’s explaining.

    He can have 50,000 cuttings in pots, they will all rot. Now take one of the claimed pots of cloned rose and dump it out and show us the trunk is not grafted.

    It seems that he never watered the cutting in their pot. Is the only water they get from the misting or did he moisten the potting mix prior to sticking the cutting in?

    I have a metal scoop like Lee's which I inherited from my father who used it to measure grain for cattle he was fattening out for meat. I used to play with the scoop when I was a child sixty years ago. Now I use it for potting mixes just like Lee does with his. Does anyone know where these originate?

    Wear a mask my dad ran a nursery died from “dust” exposure. Use perlite under a light mister with a mask and a fan.

    He just used mulch. Mulch is rotten wood. 100% of cuttings will rot. So this doesn't work.
