His smile is totally contagious! I Didn't stop smiling throughout the whole video! He's such a positive guy😁
Another brilliant video, it's brought yet another wide smile to my face! I love the way that Summer and Sander make the guests feel at ease in front of a camera which makes the sharing of their joy so genuine and effortless. The camerawork just makes you feel like you're part of the tour and conversation - so wonderful!
That's what we love to hear! Thanks for saying so :)
Yeah brilliant. 100% of cuttings in mulch rot. He picked up a potted rose. Okay, dump it out and show us the trunk is not cloned. Oh no, I see.
I have a rambler rose dark pink scented it is over 100yrs old. My grandmother had it in her garden. And I cherish this rose. I know how sentimental we can get with roses.
It sounds wonderful 🥰🌹
So at first I thought..not interested because roses are to hard, but ummm no, he made this easy. Going to try this. Thank you again for bringing us such a fun and interesting video. Doesn’t he seem like the nicest man ever with the best smile?
yes, yes, yes!
Very interesting and inspirational. What a nice, charming gentleman. Thank you so much for this video, now I will start grow roses! 💚💚💚
This well of knowledge man needs his own channel.
Thank you for going back to visit Lee.
Please do more videos with him.
That’s so sweet that they got a rose plant for Sander. ☺️
Another great video! Lee is a wealth of information and presents his knowledge and passion so clearly.
This man is a legend ! So nice and sensible and passionate. Can't wait to see Sander's rose getting planted next year :-)
Yeah!! How cool that Sander gets his rose! btw, in Australia, there is a yellow rose called Just Joey :)
I bought one Just Joey in Armstrong nursery. Love the huge bloom!
Wow. These could be super helpful and definitely educational for someone who doesnt garden alot. Or is new to gardening.
Love seeing Him again and the roses. Thank you summer after long day of work i get to relax chill and learn.
What a great guy! Very genuine and good feel to the way he interacts and teaches
I am fascinated by this passionate person! Thanks!
He's such a kind and informative teacher! Would love more episodes with him.
I agree! I really appreciate when people are passionate about plants. It's shown in their enthusiasm.
He should have his own channel:-) he is the encyklopedia of plants ;-) where can we find him?
Yeah- I liked that guy!
Wonderful
"Otherwise Normal People", appreciated.
His garden is lovely.
This makes me want to start growing roses.
Same same!
This was delightful. Thank You.

Sander is an awesome camera man btw! Backwards walking skillz! Bravo
what a great video and a genuine rose-lover. Thank you
i don't know which is more beautiful her or the roses!
Where can you purchase the pots? I have searched the internet for them. I would love to purchase.
Like your videos. Great practical advice 👍. Liked the English accent and the background walls and structures.
You have a lot of space. I don't. I have a shrub rose 🌹 plant. Flowering well with pale yellow flowers. However i have pesky beetles on the underside of the leaves making holes. Any advice ?
Loved this episode, dying with those white Sander roses. And I love that story, there is a painting called roses of Heliogabalus that illustrates the particular moment where the guests drown in the petals. Heavenly way to die XD hahahaah. hugs from Colombia
Yes, we feature it in this video. You'll have to watch until the end ;)
@@FlockFingerLakes sorry! I paused to post and then saw it, anyway love how art, plants and history intertwine. Have you seem the botanical illustrations by Jose Celestino Mutis, bet you’ll love them! :)
I have one very fragrant rambler, (I think) and I'm going to try to get some cuttings..😊👍 Thanks for sharing,
I like orange,red ,peach,different colour changing rose,beautiful deep pink,yellow colours-all climbing bunches of rose plants.Pls kindly inform.Thank you,Dr.Grace.

I love this man 👍he is so inspiring .
Oh my gosh. I Love this.♥️
Só many viewers not many likes though... come on let’s make the algorithms prioritize this videos
I missed it I could have gone to Cap cod to the Garden show. Does he have a nursery in Massachusetts? I would love to get some of his rose bush.
Is there any chance that a rosé without thorns will be developed? I wanted to start a new rose garden area, but after I pruned my roses before the winter, I was ripped to shreds and thought, I must be crazy to want more!
thornless roses have been a "thing" for awhile now. Zéphirine Drouhin is a good example of one
Does lee has a website ? I wonder
after the cuttings have rooted what kind of soil is recommended for up potting? Also, did you do a follow-up video on the Sanders cutting? Did it survive?
Rose Gloire de Dijon 💛
Love it
They just hahahaha before plant the rose and the rose seedlings will join with them at least at soon as possible 😂
Love ❤️
Ay wane Some Roos
You Have Gorges Rooses
I love how he explains everything without insisting some "magical" root hormones...
Drives me crazy that in the garden world, they call lavenders and purples, a BLUE!! Why not just call them the color they actually are???
Stopped the video half way and went out and took two cuttings, so excited! Of course then finished video:)
I love seeing Lee's rose garden, I would love to have one just like it. I used to have a rose called Blue Moon, it was a pale bluish lavender, one of my favourites. "Knee pits" describes this summer perfectly! LOL
sounds like a gorgeous color of roses! And yes, it was exceptionally hot this year. And it's still not over!
This was just full of information. I’ve been trying to propagate a red rose for years without success. Now I’m going to wait till after the first flush. I’ll have to watch again and write everything down! Thanks 🙏🏻
Whoa, Sander, you have a rose? How delightful is that?
Lee, you make me feel hopeful about trying to give rose another go. Gaaaaahhh, be still my heart.
Lee is a lot of fun. Great stories and lots of information about roses. As always, another interesting video. Thank you Lee and Summer! 😃
So pleasant to watch this guy! He brings calmness and peaceful vibes.
I noticed his Night Blooming Cereus when you were at his table. If you don’t know this plant, look it up! My plant just bloomed and I feel it is in close competition with any rose in beauty and fragrance!
Great video! I learned so much from him. It would be great to get a tour of his beautiful garden. Are his roses available for sale?
First 💚 I miss this real romantic man ❤️
Love him. I could monopolize his time for days.
Me too!
Dear Summer. Can you provide us more information about the special plant pots he is using? Maybe a source where to get them? Thank you!
Will ask Lee to provide the info!
rootmaker.com/rootmaker-system
Thank you!!!
40 years ago I purchased an old ocean home and the old garden, which I have melted up, has a small pink fringe rose and a tiny yellow rose. You have given me enough help to do some cuttings of both
What a wonderful gentleman! My question is, how does he over-winter them?
She's a bit too disruptive.
Hello from Miami #Allana ,how are you doing ?🌹❤️🙂
I’m in my 20s, but I already know that this is what I want my “retirement” to look like!
What a pleasant man! I can listen to him all day long!
Loved it all through. In deed I have learned and enjoyed, he loves what he does, he’s so kind and gentle. How fortunate is this young lady learning directly from him.
I myself love roses 🌹 thank you.🙏🙏🙏😍
What a terrific show! I enjoyed it to the fullest! I'd love to see more of Lee's work, his ideas and his tips on how to propagate roses. Thanks for a lovely 'adventure' in growing roses!
Another fabulous video. Can you provide info on where to purchase the rooting pots? I propagate fruit trees and would love to try these.thanks
We will ask Lee for the link to the pots.
rootmaker.com/rootmaker-system
@@FlockFingerLakes could. not find them there.
Great video..now the motivation I got from the last video can now be put to use with propagation 😊🌹✌🏼
Very interesting and informative. Next spring I think I might try propagating some of my roses 🌹💚🙃
The Roses may have given him such a positive wibe, so happy and open like a rose indeed 🌹🧡
I'm so glad I ran into this channel! This was so excellent! I enjoyed all of it! I loved the detour taken with the music and the Egyptian goddess bathing and pedals! Sir you do excellent work all my best to you
Please make an updated video or pruning and trimming roses in the fall season. He’s incredibly informative.
This is so wholesome
😊😊Enjoyed the rose pedal droppings...🤗🤗
I'm new here! N i'm glad i stumble upon a good video. Thank you so much👏👏..isn't he's such a handsome man with a killer smile❤. So generous in sharing so much information. Thank you guys have a blessful New Year.
Great video ! Where did he over winter the roses cuttings he cut in October?
Such a fun and interesting person. Loved watching this episode.
Pots are made of "cheap" plastic. Keeping them away from sunlight during storage, prolongs their lifespan.
Loved this video! Gave me all the information I was looking for and even a little more that I wasn’t expecting.😂
Wonderful video as usual. Informative, entertaining and wholesome. Thanks a lot to the three of you!
You're most welcome. Thanks for writing in and of course-taking the time to enjoy the video.
"Otherwise Normal People"?!? I thought I was just planting some good looking roses. I didn't know I'd get into some sort of monkey-knife-fiight with your crazies.
Wonderful great information
Great propagation pots, terrific design.
Love them. Ode to the art of propagation, growing and our love of botanical beauty...... Lovely.
Put a mask on when using perlite. It's very hard on the lungs!!!! Nursery safety first! Wet it down first to keep the glass dust down. Did you hear him cough and clear after filling that pot?!
Excellent garden&best teacher for ROSE plants.I want some different colour climbing rose plants.I am from Bangalore in India. Can you please?Dr.Grace
Absolutely fascinating! I have rooted a climbing rose about 40 years ago. But I did it a little differently so I think your method is easier. I want a cutting from a rose that grows next door to my mother‘a home. Thank you for your encouragement!
I like " The Chick" in this Video!! She's a "Babe"!!! And the Roses aren't bad either! lol ; ) Wink !!! : )
Would you Sell me Roos Plants. ?
So helpful, thank you. Just a correction on that "blue" rose: it's pronounced
VUL ta va, after the river. Accent on first syllable.
Does he sell online? Or is it local??
Hi I'm looking for a rosebush called CAMALOT, HAVE YOU HEARD OF THIS ROSEBUSH? THANKS
Lee is a wealth of information, thanks for this video. But the lady is a bit annoying interrupting him - all the “right,” “yeah,” and constant comments when he’s explaining.
He can have 50,000 cuttings in pots, they will all rot. Now take one of the claimed pots of cloned rose and dump it out and show us the trunk is not grafted.
It seems that he never watered the cutting in their pot. Is the only water they get from the misting or did he moisten the potting mix prior to sticking the cutting in?
I have a metal scoop like Lee's which I inherited from my father who used it to measure grain for cattle he was fattening out for meat. I used to play with the scoop when I was a child sixty years ago. Now I use it for potting mixes just like Lee does with his. Does anyone know where these originate?
What a magic meeting. This wonderful man sharing both knowledge and ethos so generously .grateful and inspired🌷 thankyou from Stockholm Sweden 🤗
Update of sanders Roses thank you 💕 I love this channel ✔️I'm a fun of roses and I live in Philippines 🇵🇭
Wear a mask my dad ran a nursery died from “dust” exposure. Use perlite under a light mister with a mask and a fan.
He just used mulch. Mulch is rotten wood. 100% of cuttings will rot. So this doesn't work.
Since there is less labouring, i have no chance to apply for a job in his rosy heaven... 🌹😩🌹
