Guys reach out to Billy. I would not be surprised if he responded. He came to the city near me a few years back and invited everyone to come walk with him down this iconic street. He is very open to his fans.
Cradle of Love is good, but I think this is definitely a better song and video. Cradle of Love came after Billy almost lost his leg in the motorcycle accident, so he just appears sporadically on a TV screen in the video and although his voice still sounds great it's all a little overproduced and too glossy.
Hands-down my favorite Billy Idol song! That honky-tonk piano, those spicy backup singers, the screaming guitar. Always end up driving too fast when this song comes on.
Yeah. I remember the year was 1987 because I have the 1987 Grammy Awards taped on VHS and Billy was nominated for Best Rock Vocal Performance. But Robert Palmer won instead.😊
Definitely check out his Hot in the City and Cradle of Love. This was written by Booker T. Jones and William Bell in '68 and performed by Bell and called I Forgot to Be Your Lover.
🤣🤣🤣.. One of my favorite songs. So I knew it was coming. But to see Amber 's reaction, when Billy got down on the floor and got " dirty"... I was rolling 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I really really love that y'all are still listening to Billy idol. He's got such great songs. Cradle of love. Super good La woman is another banger, And this might be a little out y'all's ballpark. I know y'all do react to movies and especially kind of music origin movies. Billy idol does have a movie and it actually came out recently. He was the first singer to play at the Hoover dam live like like 2 years ago. He still makes music. He still sings live and he's so good. He's changed a lot of his songs to be more acoustic cuz he's get older. I don't know if y'all could watch it but y'all would. Y'all would love it cuz it wouldn't just only show you more of an origin of Billy idol but it gets you caught up with pretty much all of his songs and y'all really just get more of a respect for him
YASSSSSS! Been suggesting this one forever! That's the great Steve Stevens tearing up the guitar too. 🎉🥳🎉 For a bit different side of Billy try "Catch My Fall"
I saw him live when he was almost 70… he still had and has the same energy and nasty vibe,! He performed 2 hours with attitude, moves and vocals like decades ago! Time is and has always been on his side 🥳
I saw Billy in concert about 8 years ago and he still has that swagger. He is in terrific shape and still has the vocal chops he once had. His face has aged some but he still has the six pack abs. He puts on a terrific show.
Moved to San Diego,California 1976 just before the New Wave, Billy would come on the radio, 📻 station 91X he was such a part of that 🎶 Music 🎶, Thanks for the great memories 👍 Peace✌️ and Love❤️ your 70 year old forever hippie Gary😊 great reaction 🤣
They never seem to give Steve Stevens is props for his work on all of Idol's biggest hits. He was instrumental (pardon the pun) on how all of those hits came together and the overall sound of Idol's early "solo" work. He also co-wrote "Rebel Yell", "Eyes Without a Face", and "Flesh for Fantasy".
I seriously love this one, it was a solid "go to" song back in the '80s when I deejayed at The Continental. Such a banger! I put this on a mix tape (with a bunch of his other songs from that era) and blasted the heck out of it every time I was alone in the car, my favorite sing-a-long song of all time. Keep the Billy Idol reactions coming!
Billy is awesome, always had something extra in his videos, fun song to boot. Next for him, do Cradle of Love, a real banger of a tune that roars out of the speakers. Enjoy! 🔥🎵🎸🎤🎸🎹🎶🔥
The first time I heard 'White Wedding' I thought it was a lost Jim Morrison track. Billy Idol was a straight up rocker above and beyond his 'New Wave' hair and style. Love Billy Idol! He had the best sneer EVER!
Billy Idol fans - check out his 2014 album " kings and queens of the underground". EVERY SONG SMOKES. Usually, these older artists put out mediocre albums, later in their career. I actually think its his BEST EVER. Check out "postcard from the past" or " whiskey and pills"
Thanks for another, and successful 🙂, attempt for Billy Idol! "Hot in the City", "Cradle Of Love" , "Sweet Sixteen". Yes, you never know what you'll get with this artist. But it will always be cool.
If I remember it right, Billy Idol, Steve Strange from Visage and Adam Ant shared a flat for some time when they were in their twenties. How cool that must have been! Three such icons in one flat.
I taught aerobics in the 1980s in Las Vegas and every other song in my class was Billy Idol. Eyes Without a Face, Rebel Yell, White Wedding, Mony Mony, Dancing With Myself, and Flesh for Fantasy!
Fantastic song! Billy is one of the best reasons that the 80's were special. He brought his punk/rock and whiplash smile to us in the early part of the 80's having left the band GENERATION X, only to find his lane as a solo artist. With the help of incredible videos on MTV, we got to see this amazing artist and his partner, Steve Stevens make some of the coolest songs around. I have seen Billy more than a handful of times live, most recently about 5-6 years ago and he can perform. He sounds great live and puts on an amazing show. Check him out if you get the chance. Other songs to reacts to - "Don't Need a Gun", "Sweet Sixteen", "Catch My Fall". An older, but still rocking Billy - "Bitter Taste", "Can't Break Me Down".
Jay when you said that with Billy Idol you never know what you're going to get I couldn't help but think of that line "life is like a box of chocolates you never know what you're gonna get", lol 😂. You and Amber did a great job on this reaction video, keep up the good work and keep on rockin' 🎸🤘🔥.
This is my favorite Billy Idol song, even over "Rebel Yell". This takes me back to the early days of MTV when we finally got cable at my house and I was able to watch it. At the time, this was one of the videos that was constantly being played. Billy Idol represents the 80s for me.
Hi guys... What a great song from my youth. Billy Idol was one of my favorite artist Take a look at this song "Save Me Now" from his album "Kings & Queens of the Underground" from 2014... That's a great song... :) Keep them coming... :)
I love ALL your reactions & enjoy watching them. The 80’s was hands down the best era of music & Mr. Idol was a HUGE part of it. God bless you both and your family. 🤘🏻❤️
Such a banger, totally forgot about this classic, as usual !!!!! What the joke was ages ago re: Billy Idol..."He looks like Sting and sings like Bing!"
Billy is still touring and still kicking serious butt. his acoustic versions of his songs are awesome too! Cradle Of Love is a fun video for you guys to check out.
The bars of the 80s were packed with lineups at the door. I have no clue if the same happens now but the music is so much better than what kids are putting out today.
When you’re listening to Billy Idol songs, listen for the surfer music on guitar Steve Stephens is obsessed with the early 60s surf music and they incorporated and a lot of their songs . The very first thing you hear in white wedding is surf music
THAT WAS FIRE!!!! And when I saw him at Whiskey A-Go-Go Bar in L.A. he jumped the stage in his performance!!!! Lol WILD!!!! Love me some Billy Idol!!! Great reactions guys!!!!
This song is a remake of 'To Be A Lover' written by William Bell and Booker T. Jones (Of Booker T. and the MGs. William Bell was released in November 1968. the song hit No. 45 on the Hot 100 and No. 10 on the Billboard Hot Rhythm & Blues Singles chart in early 1969. Billy does a wonderful job on this song, especially the long version. Check out the very soulful original by William Bell.
Guys reach out to Billy. I would not be surprised if he responded. He came to the city near me a few years back and invited everyone to come walk with him down this iconic street. He is very open to his fans.
Yeah, he's a super cool dude.
That would rock this channel out! Would love to see it.
That would be so awesome!😂
That Guy is his World Class Guitarist Steve Stevens!! He's amazing and never gets the credit he deserves and has his own solo career!!
💯
Jay & Amber, you'll love his "Cradle Of Love" !!!!
Keep hoping they'll react to that soon!!! 🤞🤞🤞
I loved the video 😍
My entire generation had a crush on Devin.
Cradle of Love is good, but I think this is definitely a better song and video. Cradle of Love came after Billy almost lost his leg in the motorcycle accident, so he just appears sporadically on a TV screen in the video and although his voice still sounds great it's all a little overproduced and too glossy.
Oh yeah !! For sure! !! 😎👍🏼
You don't need a Gun !! Another beatiful Song of Billy!!
Great track.
It`s really good.
Fun fact: The backup singer in the middle is the woman who was the main character in the "Take On Me" video by A-ha.
Cool! I didn't know that.
All this time and I didn't know that!
Yes. She and the lady on the left became actresses. I`ve seen them in movies. Can`t remember their names, though.
No kidding??? Wow... interesting 😎👍🏼
Yes ... her name is Bunty Bailey and she dated Billy for a while !
This was always one of my favorite Billy Idol songs. Thanks so much for getting to it.
I can just imagine a young Elvis singing this. As always peace and love to you both.
Yes! I have always thought he was channeling Elvis in this one.
Hands-down my favorite Billy Idol song! That honky-tonk piano, those spicy backup singers, the screaming guitar. Always end up driving too fast when this song comes on.
This was the 1980s. It was early Billy Idol. He was young. We did dance to this.
Yeah. I remember the year was 1987 because I have the 1987 Grammy Awards taped on VHS and Billy was nominated for Best Rock Vocal Performance. But Robert Palmer won instead.😊
Yes, relesed in 86. Not what I would call early Billy Idol. But, hey early Billy, later Billy .... it's all great stuff!
One of my favorite Billy idol songs
Definitely check out his Hot in the City and Cradle of Love. This was written by Booker T. Jones and William Bell in '68 and performed by Bell and called I Forgot to Be Your Lover.
yes, William Bell and Booker T Jones written song on Stax Records!!! They should check out Booker T. & The M.G.'s hit "Green Onions"!!
Yes, love "Hot In The City". Funky, a little different from his usual vibe.
Billy Idol never disappoints
Billy brings the fire ❤❤❤❤❤
🤣🤣🤣.. One of my favorite songs. So I knew it was coming. But to see Amber 's reaction, when Billy got down on the floor and got " dirty"... I was rolling 🤣🤣🤣🤣

The first Billy Idol song I've heard back in 1986! Also one of my favorites. Finally, someone reacted to it! Thank you.
Billy will be the first to tell you that he's a big Elvis fan from way back.
YASSSSSS! Been suggesting this one forever! That's the great Steve Stevens tearing up the guitar too.
🎉🥳🎉
For a bit different side of Billy try "Catch My Fall"
I saw him live when he was almost 70… he still had and has the same energy and nasty vibe,! He performed 2 hours with attitude, moves and vocals like decades ago! Time is and has always been on his side 🥳
TQ for this - Billy Idol at his best
"Dancing with Myself" is my Billy favorite. Always gets me to the dance floor. That one and "Mony Mony".
I saw Billy in concert about 8 years ago and he still has that swagger. He is in terrific shape and still has the vocal chops he once had. His face has aged some but he still has the six pack abs. He puts on a terrific show.

Yep. Yep. Yep. Billy is SOOOOOOOO charismatic! Cradle of Love next, please!!!!!
Agreed! Cradle of Love is a better song, actually.
Always loved the chorus
This is my favorite Billy Idol song. It came out when I was a senior in high school, and it's just as great now as it was then!
The extended remix of this song is awesome with the addition of some shredding guitar by Steve Stevens
I love this album. He can sing the dictionary. 1 hell of an artist.
My absolute favorite Billy Idol song! Steve Stevens really rocks it on guitar too! So glad to see it here--thanks...
I seriously love this one, it was a solid "go to" song back in the '80s when I deejayed at The Continental. Such a banger! I love how great these 80s songs and videos are!
Yay, so happy to hear you react to this song. Been suggesting it for a very long time, lol 😍.
His new music is great too. He never stopped putting out great music since the 80s heyday.
Cradle Of Love and Dancing With Myself are a couple of high energy tracks by Billy Idol. Definitely 80's-dance-invoking.
My favorite Billy Idol has still got to be “Dancing with Myself”. Saw him warming up for Duran Duran in ‘84.
Rock The Cradle Of Love.
Yes! This song should be next.
The first time I heard 'White Wedding' I thought it was a lost Jim Morrison track. Billy Idol was a straight up rocker above and beyond his 'New Wave' hair and style. Love Billy Idol! He had the best sneer EVER!

Billy rarely lets you down. If ever!!

The blonde backing vocalist was the girl from Aha's Take On Me video.
That's right!
Billy did a song called "Night Crawling" with Miley Cyrus on her Plastic Hearts album. His vocals blew hers away and he is more than twice her age.
Billy is still touring and still kicking serious butt. his acoustic versions of his songs are awesome too! Cradle Of Love is a fun video for you guys to check out.
I would of loved to hear Elvis making music in the 80s. I loved Elvis music from the 70s
The back up singers are singing Elvis’s favorite line, “Have Mercy”! 🙂
The man just gets better looking as he gets older and his music still rocks.❤❤
This is definitely my favourite from Billy Idol.
Never heard this one. Awesome 👍👍
We are seeing him in concert in a few weeks! I can't wait! Also, Platinum Blonde will be opening for him. They are awesome too!!
This song rocks.. love it. Thanks for getting to it..
OH YESSSS!!! This is tied with Mony Mony as my favourite Billy song. Keyboards put it over the top. Such a sexy song!
The bars of the 80s were packed with lineups at the door. I have no clue if the same happens now but the music is so much better than what kids are putting out today.
When you’re listening to Billy Idol songs, listen for the surfer music on guitar
Steve Stephens is obsessed with the early 60s surf music and they incorporated and a lot of their songs .
The very first thing you hear in white wedding is surf music
