    It's interesting to note how Chams keeps saying "sorry" to the men whenever she speaks for a lengthy period of time. Don't apologize sister. You have as much a right to speak and pose questions to Akala as the men do.

      @@chap0syoutuification I haven't heard any Scottish nationalist and trust me I'm around them a lot being from Scotland ever speak or give a fuck about what DNA the English hold. Modern nationalism in Scotland is about Westminster and the impossibility for Scotland to ever have a say in the UK elections. Overwhelming majority in scotland vote against tories... Tories win... We want separated from a culture that isn't ours so we can have our own identity kept, something the 'English' have had a hand in stamping out through policies dating back far. Also their is the overwhelming evidence that Scotland would be better off economically, which rings well in Scotlands ears after years of tory Austerity which by the way wasnt the only way to go about resolving the financial crash. But what did they go and do, fucking make promises all the Westminster scum with their signed declarations in papers promising Scotland all the goodies. Where did it go. Fucking lies. So take your little DNA poi t and shove it up your ass.
      On a side note just kidding at the end their. Canny help be a little bit Scottish when talking about Scotland, right? haha
      But yeah, never heard that argument but I've heard plenty better ones for the nationalist cause for Scotland and Wales. I even support the rest of England trying to spectate economically from London. But then Thatcher made that almost impossible. (Edit: changed Ireland to.Wales.)

      You stated "If milk can transform a newborn totally dependent baby to a strong toddler who can walk and run...It is common sense that it is good for you." and I replied by stating "imagine how 'stronger' the child would be rather drinking another mammals milk which is totally foreign to the child's system"... Trying to get across to you that our milk is better than cow's milk, goat's milk etc... In addition, just because an infant grows 'healthy' whilst consuming foreign milk does not mean that it's generally good. It may cause health issues in the long run.

    • @MsDarkie93
      @MsDarkie93 8 років тому +26

      George and Akala aren't on the same level. Akala is revolutionary and says what others are scared to say. Hence why he's struggled to break into the mainstream. George is nothing special. He's a decent poet but his opinions and knowledge aren't anything special. Hence why the BBC love him.

    The comment about the black female law firm exec crying when she came under attack, is in a strange way the best way to approach a scenario where as a black woman, you find yourself coming under attack within a workplace. I was told by my aunty when I was young that sometimes you have to play the victim in order to get a point across. Any black woman in that kind of scenario would instinctively want to stand their ground, cuss couple bad wud, get everyone around them riled up and subsequently become the perpetrator when really they are the victim. So in some scenarios its best to play the victim in order to get your message across... I totally get why she cried.

    the phrase "I don't really like hip hop but I love eminemn"
    explained everything about subconscious racism.
    I once went to a hedge fund party and there was no black employees (over 100 ppl).

    I love that when he's talking about what he's done, like the hip hop Shakespeare company etc, he never says "I" started it, he always says "we". Such a humble guy who clearly appreciates his support.

    its a shame we dont have as many conscious people around. And also conscious MCs (rappers) or for the matter: artists, but mainly MCs and people.
    Most are talking shit on air waves. Think about it, if someone has a platform, using it for conscious awareness such as akala does, is evolution. We yearn for it.
