- Love that the piano is so versatile and can play so many different styles of music - like Children by Robert Miles. An high energy EDM Electronic Dance Music from the 90s with loads of bass, first transitions and vibing and vibrations! Can just let go and throw all kinds of moves and shapes, not just on the dance floor but on the keys!
This is from Battersea Power Station when I visited it last year and loads of other pianists randomly turned up too (although this is before most turned up).

Wow, I didn't realize how hard this song would be to play on the piano. The whole progression sounded better and better as the song went on!
It don't have to be so hard. But what Cole played is very hard but of course sounded fantastic it's an wonderful arrangement he came up with 👍🏻🎹🔥🔥 I love to play edm on piano and do that on my channel too but of course I'm far away from Coles skill level 🙈🎹💖

My dad died today after 5 months in hospital including a week in ICU and I was just scrolling on UA-cam and this popped up. Seems apt seeing as me and my sisters are the ‘children’ left behind now (although we are in our 40s and 50s). Thanks for sharing Cole. Tremendous as always.

It was full bodied. As a 1973 born, I remember this song in the mid 90's so well.

FANTASTIC COLE, As I often do, I echo everything that Don has said in his comments (we oldies tend to think alike). This was the original "Children" but nothing you ever play goes without that unique Cole Lam arrangement and I can't think that Robert Miles would have wanted you to change anything. A lengthy piece but of course excellent for this setting as it gave time for the crowds to assemble. Who can fail to be impressed, I really wish that I had been there with you to watch and listen to you live that day. Do let me know if you are going to Battersea again. It is no problem for me getting there.

Large audience at Battersea Mall (Maybe trains to catch or rushing from the train to continue their journey at stations) - many little people, almost fully grown and adults. An individual treatment of a piece from 20-odd years ago. Lovely! 💖💖💖

Cole takes you on a journey with this one. Yes many mistakes but the energy is what a dance track is about. And cole builds you up and brings you back down. All the other versions on UA-cam keep you at same energy level throughout. Only thing that this needs is better recoding equipment and venue.

Yes same here with me.. I was the happiest girl on earth if only I could come up on the fly with playing a song even much simpler as Cole but even that is not possible for me. I started playing self taught as adult and play my arrangements of edm songs on my channel but I need some time to come up with an arrangement and then some more to practice and eventually to record it 🙈🎹💖

It's been about 6 months since tuning to your channel and I will say that in those 6 months something has changed in your playing. No longer playing classic songs of hit tunes that captures people's attention in these public places (although this song is pretty popular) but the technique and playing capturing people's ears. Keep on progressing! Can not wait to see you live one day.

This may be up there with November Rain with your other iconic covers. It wasn't just a great crowd, but some were litterly jumping for joy. Quite an experience for those lucky enough to be there. Here you are, 16, and you are creating the excitement that drives the clubbing scene ala Studio 54 in its day. And, from an upright. Someday, your crowd will start dancing as soon as you play. You MUST do this with electronic effects even though you generated a few kilowatts here. Whatta boy!

I watch this every now and then in amazement. You know i'm not a proper piano critic, but it just seems like this is your most amazing performance. Per you, Bohemian Rhapsody must be more difficult and requires more skill. Aren't the keys per second, ie KPS, off the chart? You really drove the audience crazy...all the way to Arizona.
I'm still so taken by this performance by you that I can't quite get over it. I'm guessing that you looked at some of these videos as you created your own incredible piano version. I still think it's in your top five all the time. How would you rank it? On the other hand, it's hard to rank your own children!!!
