When my twin passed at 5 and half months, a piece of her died with him. She stopped being a parent after that, and alcohol became her baby. The concept of parents being able to hold things together, and continue being a parent to their other children is so foreign to me. It’s never occurred to me that people could be so strong, because I’ve never seen it myself.

My Nan passed this year at 94, she buried two children, one at age 5 and the other in his 40’s. She was never the same. She suffered with her nerves and sometimes had to be hospitalised. She never drank but she needed antidepressants for the rest of her life. As a mother, I totally understand how your mum ended up on the path she did. I’m so sorry you had to go through what you have. ❤

How does taking a drug recreationally make you a druggie, you clearly don’t understand addiction also good people don’t need praise but for such a good man/father to be so vile to a grieving mother I hope you never find yourself in this situation 😤😡
