- Splatanas are a sword-style weapon class that are new to Splatoon 3 along with the stringers. The splatanas are a mix of the Splatoon 3 roller and brush class, having the potential one-hit kills of the prior and the agility of the latter. Inside the Mind of Splatana Mains is supposed to be a comedic Splatoon 3 montage that explains what goes through a splatana user's head as well as gives some tips on how to use the weapon class. I joke around as well as give some Splatoon 3 splatana tricks and tips. Right now there are 2 types of splatanas for those interested in the class: the Splatana Wiper and the Splatana Stamper. In the right hands, the splatanas can be a deadly weapon class. What weapon would you like me to cover next? As a Splatana Wiper and Stamper Main when we see a super jump marker or a inkvac our brains shut off and we find ourselves trying to 1 shot them

I can confirm. Every time I see a Splat Charger pop Vacuum, I rush them immediately and fish for a one shot.

All my encounters with Splatanas ends with the "We'll be right back" meme. Unless I jump camp them. Then it still happens.

I don't understand how people have the reflexes to get a charged slash kill every 3 seconds. The only way I could ever do that is by slashing salmonids...Look it's better than nothing.

I got a quad with 2 charged slash the other day, my right hand is temporarily having a stroke after that.
I love how the splatana combines the spam ability of the brush with the aim and damage requirements of the ink rollers, making it a pretty good weapon

Also fun fact: Just slowly walk up menacingly and they know they can’t throw it down at you without dying (It’s the equivalent of a death threat and if they know splatana’s they will throw it away from everyone as most splatana’s are absolutely insane and will stick around to kill you even if you throw it right down)
i mean about the stampers range, i imagine putting fluid ink on a running chainsaw would sling it pretty far
my fav weapon is grizzco stamper close range plus armor breaking and one shotting an entire row of salmonids is just satisfying
Splatana users are super annoying lol. It CAN be fun to use depending on who you are against. I am curious what weapon class you would do next! I would say chargers but you already did those 😅. Happy New Years, and Amazing Video

@It’s Oreo If you move randomly and jump then you will have a good advantage. Just remember not to be in dash range and not far enough so that they can space you out. If they go slightly higher to account for jump just squid form. Few people know how to properly counter splatana’s. Use this info wisely!

It is. Coming from a day 1 splatana swiper main.
If you want to have fun Zooming around with Splatana Stamper Zipcaster, use Special Power up, it increases Duration Grapple Range
The horizontal hitbox increase lowered the skill cap for wiper. Revert the buff and it’s high skill again while still being good.

When I played splatoon 2 years ago I used to think of how cool a splat sword would be and other things like Ink Roller Blades or dual miniguns
You missed the time when Wiper walks into the opponent’s base.
YES! Just casually walk in and have everyone be too scared to do anything as you wouldn’t be doing that if ur a normal player. Either that, they think ur friendly, or they try to kill you on sight.

On a weapon with low projectile damage but super high melee damage. Like the grizzco but dialed down.
300 charged slash (melee) 40 charged (projectile) allows for a 1 hit on people with spawn armor, surge armor, or roll armor.
Inkvac is my fav special just because I main a splatana

As a stamper main, the Bain of my existence has to be a daulies, imagine your about to one shot a daulies, and they weave it with a roll and then splat you 💀 that's when you have to uninstall splatoon.. (I'm joking)

Inkjet for inside the mind please. As an inkjet main, I’m very disappointed that it’s only on 2 weapons.
I suck with Splatana but it’s pretty good when I get a kill.
IDK why I like sniper bullying weapons so much, my main being the Undercover (good luck hitting though my shield at close range), and I've picked up the Splatanas. Zipcaster can get me one shots on enemy chargers, and nothing is more fun than an Ultra Stamp splat from throwing it.
