SCP-3001 - Red Reality (SCP Animation)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 18 лис 2020
- SCP-3001 is a Euclid class anomaly also known as the Red Reality. SCP 3001 is a hypothesized paradoxical parallel / pocket non-dimension accessible through the creation of a momentary Class-C Broken Entry Wormhole. While believed to be an infinitely extending parallel universe, SCP3001 is almost completely devoid of any matter and has an extremely low Hume Level. This phenomenon causes matter inside it to decay at an extremely low rate, and damage that would otherwise prove fatal does not impede any biological/electronic function.

The video actually left some of the most horrific things out... While he was in there, he tried to commit suicide hundreds of times, none of which successful, after the light on his machine went out permanently. Time after time he would horrifically mutilate himself praying that he would die one of the times. However after weeks of attempting to kill himself the light went back on, and saw how much of his body he had destroyed, and started to scream... there's a quote associated with this story and it's truly horrible:
"Anna, can I have your brain, I only have half"
Oh god
it also forgot "Let me keep my heart, just my heart, that's all I want." which would have made the part where his wedding ring his heart and his lungs appears in the foundation base more emotionally powerful for the listener.
And it was so well written like so well written. I really really pities the man and felt his suffering
It's been theorist that SCP 3001 is the reason SCP 106 exist

Their is a tale where robert scranton escapes the pocket dimension and escapes the red reality and becomes scp 106 but this is one of the many tales of 106 like the young man etc
Correction: He didn't warp himself so bad he stopped existing, he just tried killing himself to the point he was part of a head and some intestines. He actually started getting realer, as he started vomiting and bleeding. His remains went with red reality back to the containment sight, where his wife discovered his horribly mangled remains, so much so she didn't recognize him.

I remember reading this SCP a while back and honestly this video is an excellent depiction, but does NOT do the story justice. Scranton was literally falling apart, organs just phasing through his torso, extremities drifting away from him, and the gore that would come with such an event was still very real. The panel that came back to reality didn't just have a spatter of red on it, it was COVERED in gore and blood and loose body parts, mostly from him smashing himself against the panel trying to use it as blunt force to kill himself, but he never could manage to succeed.
The whole time, he'd been losing his mind. Years of just repeating desperate attempts to keep himself sane, crying out to try and keep the memory of his wife. At one point as his body literally fell apart, the finger with his wedding ring drifted away and he couldn't find it to get it back.
When the panel returned, Anna was one of the first to see it, and when she recognized what it was and what it was covered in, she took it real hard. The recordings, including no indication that Scranton had died yet and was still suffering, got her the worst.
There's also a side story, not directly canon, in the SCP-106 entry that references 3001.
Yeah, honestly you gotta read the article if you wanna get the full experience.
Yeah true but UA-cam wouldn’t allow them to have such description in that video
Scranton SCP-3001 logs, Section 4:
“NICE TRY HELL, ring's on the RIGHT hand, nice try left.”
Scranton SCP-3001 logs, Section 5:
“Anna… [Voice breaks.] Anna, can I hold your hand, I lost my ring… [Sobbing.]”

This is genuinely terrifying, a reality where all you can do is walk, talk and wait for death which you're not even sure would arrive. The doctor's story is one that's gonna keep me up at night
it does, it truly sounds absolutely horrifying
The video actually left some of the most horrific things out... While he was in there, he tried to commit suicide hundreds of times, none of which successful, after the light on his machine went out permanently. Time after time he would horrifically mutilate himself *praying* that he would die one of the times. @ReeperCreeper who says it isn’t real?
@@lackofplethora7065 that sounds terrible
@ReeperCreeper why is it obvious that’s it isn’t real? Do you think that all of the members of the public in the SCP stories believe an organisation like this could be real?
"ANNA, GIVE ME YOUR BRAIN, I ONLY HAVE HALF."
That line gives me the chills
Yeah, I wonder why this video is incomplete. I known it's a little bit graphic, but the body horror is a BIG part of the SCP article.
@@Jake007123 UA-cam would probably demonitize it quickly.
I want pretty eyes. Anna, Anna, give me your eye, I only have one.

Anna… Anna, spare a toe? Wobbly.
ANNA, GIVE ME YOUR BRAIN, I ONLY HAVE HALF.
The ending on the original story always confused me. The description at the beginning leaves Scranton's fate ambiguous but the recording itself suggests that not only is Scranton almost definitely dead, but the pocket universe itself is probably destroyed. Scranton describes the space getting smaller, because the pocket universe was collapsing back into reality. He describes how he is unable to touch the "edges" of the collapsing zone without experiencing intense pain, since what was left of him wasn't "real" enough to survive outside of SCP-3001. Once it collapsed completely, he was basically splattered against the control panel as it popped back into reality. It's a gruesome description but I'm pretty sure he's dead.
or he became scp106
@@EatAllDaHumans He'd be too torn apart for that
@@lucasbroome1048 SCP is written by lots of people and it's perfectly fine for a person to have multiple fates
I thought so too at first, but just before red get pulled back into our reality, Scranton decided to not go with it and stay cause he was scared he wouldn’t survive the trip and/or horrify his wife with the amount of disfigurement and mutilation done to his body. He notes that this gives him five more years to figure something out, and since the foundation now knows he didn’t die back in 2000, there’s a slim bit of hope that they can get to him in time. Also, the author of the story has said that Scranton’s torso and part of his head are still in there, teasing he may or may not still be alive.
Since The SCP Foundation is a loose canon with many different plot threads, you get to choose which one of those and what comes after yourself. For example, I personally prefer him still being alive, but I’m not a fan of the popular story where he ends up becoming SCP 106. I do think it’s cool and have nothing against it, it’s just not for me.
@@jarsofpaperstars I believe that he died after a few years, but I believe it's also possible he became "less real" to a point where he became incapable of furthers attempts of mutilation., so hes still "alive". I doubt without red he maintains any bit of his sanity though.

Well there are many realities and anything could be possible
The ending of this video is false.
In the actual entry, Robert came back as he was able to figure out how to. However, returning to our reality means that the laws of reality that governed our world would immediately take place and the reality of death would immediately take him.
Bear in mind that Robert tore himself apart in the Red Dimension just by trying to get to our dimension and even before that, his body wasn't even supposed to be functioning anymore. By all laws of our reality, he should've been dead.
Upon returning to our reality, he was nothing but flesh and viscera. Robert is finally dead.
Nobody knows what actually happened to him he could be *dead* or he still *could be* in there
So you are false
Only parts of his body returned. As the 2 realities connect through a worm hole, it brings the hum level back, prolonging his suffering even more. He can either go back to earth and die or stuck in that reality, unable to die but since his body is in literal pieces by now, he can't do anything but watch as the worm hole goes away with the LSS

@SCP-049 your next 👌
This is literally my worst nightmare. Imagine being in absolute darkness for eternity. Not being able to do anything. Just nothingness. Forever
Not eternity, you’d eventually die. Due to the low Hume field you’ll just disintegrate.
Look up eternal oblivion
@@youyesyou9793 Yes, that's what I was thinking of but forgot the name
SCP-3001: Another Reality SCP-3008: An Idea That Has No Doors
i used to not like the infographic show but i like the pace you guys release these. your not trying to make the video long nor are you adding unrealistic situations like "Shark teeth" keep up the good work. also please make a video about any of the groups of interest.
This is my absolute favorite SCP thank you for covering it!!
This is not just the scp 3001story, it is also the scp 106 backstory and the low hume levels made him the old man
His screams are going to haunt me for a time.
That's not how the story ends, its ending was so good and it was glossed over
If i am alowed to say this just a lil theory:
Dr. Scranton is now know as scp-106
(Probably, idk im just thinking)
BUT HEY THATS JUST A THEORY
@asiopdru afiopugiop I think there was a tale tieing 3001 to 106. Not confirmed to be true, though. So the tale is more of a theoretical tale
@asiopdru afiopugiop lets just say 106 has a pocket dimension too where he sends his victims and it also has a really low level of Hume, but this is still Just a theory a pretty bad theory
Not possible due to 106 backstory
@@Pandoras_Act0r Maybe the reason they are rotting might be beacuse of low Hume level
It may have been 2 years, but coming back to these is nostalgic, and they've stood the test of time REALLY well, impressive for anything online! Love your channel!
stood the test of time?? after 2 years? someone give this guy a medal
What if Scp-3008 is a black hole? That could explain why its like a void, its fully black and maybe the LSS is a teleporting machine. It may have teleported it to a black hole, or something like a 4th universe.
There's a podcast that covers this incident as well and it is DEEPLY disturbing. The original article is as well but putting audio to the reports makes it harrowing as fuck. I strongly suggest listening if this episode left you wanting to hear more.
omg... this is the saddest story I've read.. he's trapped there for eternity seeing nothing, no pain, no hunger, but suffering thinking you're all alone there away from peoples... that's sad man..
Realistic and horror-like scp cases on netflix presented by chapters like black mirror does would be an actual good thing to watch and live with.
To me, this scene perfectly encapsulates the quote, “There is no life in the void, only....death.”
I never thought being alive could be so painfull
Finally that the first scp I asked for when this channel created
Bro the random screams get me every time. Love your videos
This channel is a safe scp that would get you in love with scp stories and will have you be unable to resist the urge to like it
I love this one!! Great work, SCP Explained!
Yes, let's put all the reality warpers in one place. What could possibly go wrong
I love how they had two gravestones for the same guy in that cemetary.
Damn you watched this, and then watching that one hour long of red reality live version. I guess covid quarantine isn't that bad
