Thanks for the ride. Oilver that was a lot fun. Hopefully you get another win. For Team Joest. And Team Mazda. You guys had a couple of bugs in her. But you had built a beautiful DPI. And you have the utmost respect on this Acura fan. Can't wait see you battle on the track. With my Acuras, Cadillacs and Nissans. And I hope you have more success next year .
I would have thought Oliver spent enough time in the states by now to know it's called asphalt. Just joking. Jarvis is one hell of a good driver and how could anyone not love road Atlanta. It is so fun watching these guys throw the car around the corners at high speed.
It’s a little bit daunting thinking about doing this for 100 laps...every lap fighting to stay focused. Even as fast as he’s talking, he’s not getting it all out before the turn is finished and his brain has to be processing at double speed because he can’t rely on sight as the guide.
For some reason the Mazdas always look hard to drive. Just look at the steering wheel "sawing" and amount of small corrections, same thing on all in-car laps from the Mazda. This wasn't even a qualifying lap based on the lap time vs. qualifying results yesterday.
The commentary alone is enough to rev-up any petrol head.
This might be the most enthusiastic lap commentary I’ve ever heard. I love it.
Look up Le Mans one lap with Allan McNish.
Dude seriously! Oliver, my man, if you ever retire out of that Mazda dpi we better see you in the commentary box getting us hype!!!
@@ananddullabh Imagine... would Hindy ever get a word in edgewise?
@@beenaplumber8379 I'll find out this weekend at petite le mans and let you know lol
I guess you havent seen the hans stuck guided lap around the nurburgring
Insane lap! Well done Jarvis.
I’m always impressed by the reflects of these pilots. I would love to have Mazda back in LeMans...
I don't know why but bumpy tracks excite me! So much nuance involved!!
Such a great circuit. Second only to Bathurst in my all-time list.

Olly Jarvis always looks like a little boy who got handed the WHOLE Cookie Jar. So happy.
And ppl say race car drivers aren't athletes...
Pssh yea OOK
LOL which is why there are so many non-athlete racing drivers hahaha NOT
@@FormulaKimball There is a difference between paying to work and working to get paid. The one you mentioned pay a lot more to get in.
@@shahmirkhan1502 Ha yep
@@FormulaKimball show me a single professional race driver that is not fit in WEC, WRC, F1, IndyCar or IMSA. I'll wait.
@@ErwinLiszkowicz LOL amen, you'd be waiting quite a while :)
I'll be there tomorrow Ollie. I know you & the Joest team have one more 1-2 finish waiting for us! I've been getting used to those Mazda 1-2's!
Good commentary, good lap! Respect
Most Excellent!!!
One of the best tracks ever! What a rollercoaster :O
Very skilled driver Oliver Jarvis,
WOW these cars are wildly fast through here! And gtp is going to go faster??!?!?!!! Thats going to be a wild thing to see
Now the track is in Gran Turismo 7 now 🌝
yeh the blokes come out of the womb with insane moto play by play ability
Man that was fast 👏👏👏

Insane
Damn that's fast
Now THAT is how you commentate on a lap!
My favourite track with my favourite driver to commentate. Seriously, have you seen Olly's Sebring commentary from 2018?
Road Atlanta.... THE best circuit in America and top 5 in the world. Easy.
I'm surprised he didn't catch the Ford GT earlier. I had thought the DPi would acellerate much faster.
Yeah that was weird it almost looked like he lifted
173 mph down the back straight and still uses the same brake point into 10a as my M4 class Miata...
I can't believe where his braking marker going into 10 was.
Downforce is a magical thing

Such an amazing track! Wish I would have raced motorcycles there, CCS didn't go there then
Lol that felt like it was on fast forward
doesnt he also drive a nissan gtr in intercontinentall gt??
He does indeed drive for KCMG in the GT-R GT3.
