I'm trying to learn the lyrics to this song. Question: Are the lyrics "I got my first real 6th string. Bought it at the five & dime."
That's what i hear when others sing it. However, here it sounds as if the woman is singing, "I bought my first real 6th string. Brought it to the five & dime."
Which is correct?
(The second lyric doesnt make as much sense to me. Why would you bring your guitar you just bought to the five & dime?)
