This really took me back. I really miss the 80's as a whole, great times! I got married in 1987 (still married) and we had such a great fun wedding. So much has changed since then. Most got married in a Church and then went to the reception. Today most weddings are on the reception premises, with short ceremonies. The best man said a toast to the bride and groom and it took about 1 to 5 minutes and then we all ate, today almost everyone in the wedding party says a 20 minute speech while scrolling through their cell phone while guest's get board waiting when the food will be served. Not as many people dance now a days, not compared to the 80's anyway. Wedding gowns were so pretty, I loved mine so much. Loved watching this.
Oh I wish I was there. I’m 25 and I know this is cliché but I honestly think I was born in the wrong era. Everythings so miserable now, I have no friends and no one that bothers to call or check up on me. I so wish I could live and go out. Life is just passing me by. These weddings were so beautiful. The brides looked like princesses. They didn’t wear those horrible revealing tight fit dresses they wear today. People actually had fun and no phones. I know nothing was ever perfect and every generation had good and bad stuff but I feel like now its just the worst
Fabulous weddings - I wonder if the couples are still married and the venues are still going! I love how much people were dancing - seems people just don't enjoy themselves as much now at weddings. Maybe people are worried about appearances more! Thanks

WHATA happened to men wearing REALLY nice outfits? Someone I know - while the Bride wore a GORGEOUS traditional wedding dress - HE wore a pair of shorts and a collared short I was HORRIFIED - seems tobe now that the women take the time StiLL to look beautiful and some men just don’t’ t care
The 70's men wore jeans, T-shirts and flannel shirts. The 80's men had great hair, wore dress shirts, nice pleated pants, and some with suspenders. During the 90's, back to jeans, sweat pants, T-Shirts and flannel shirts. LOL
