- Carnivores: A Prehistoric Hunting Experience is a childhood favorite of mine. This is a compilation of some epic hunts and moments that I put together from a recent playthrough. Enjoy!
The Rex chasing you non stop was exhilarating as a kid. Absolutely terrifying

That was literally the entire game for me the fucking raptors were the worst

Holy. Crap. I found it! This was one of my favorite games I used to play as a kid! Nostalgia never hitted so hard didn't it?
Played an unfathomable amount of this over my childhood.
Used to always seek out the very top do the mountain, or the lava surrounded ruin before hunting them.
The dark atmosphere and the creepy dino sounds made this game one of the most memorable ones I ever played.
I remember always looking for a high ground or a safe spot were dinos could not reach me. I think there was some sort of ruin on one of the maps I tried to climb desperately
There was a ruin in the map where you first unlock velociraptors I believe. The ruin had a creepy easter egg where if you stood there a while youd hear a creepy voice speak.

I used to play this game in my granpas house, miss that times when he was alive and we were enjoying together... te echo de menos abuelo!
I used to play this and the ice age version too with my late uncle growing up on pc! Some of the absolute best memories. It’s such a dark and eerie game! The spooky sounds, the terrifying calls and I was always on edge scared a raptor or a Trex was going to sneak up from behind and mangle me 😂 GOOD TIMES!!!

You couldn’t miss
I grew up playing this with my cousin. Very memorable game from my childhood. The person that commented below and mentions the dark atmosphere and dinosaur calls was spot on. The creators of the game gave just enough information but also added mystery and lore. Thats another aspect that makes the game memorable and fascinating. And u are really good too! I remember rarely using the x-bow. I always tried using the sniper rifle which was all but useless when the dino's were close lol. Great video!
This game scared the shit out of me when I was a kid. Probably played it since I was 6 or something lol.

This game was straight up a horror game when I was a kid, because the sounds were eerie, there was no music (just ambiance) and the aggressive dinos were no joke.
I don't believe I ever got to killing a T-rex (maybe one time) because I remember specifically that you had to hit it in the eye to kill it and I was always to scared to attempt it often lol. Ahh this brings back some memories of my early days of PC gaming. This, Croc 1, and some demolition derby game were my go to PC games lol.
the most terrifying things are :
1 : having a spino randomly spawn while you weren't hunting it and having it hunt you on your 8th hunt
2 : mistaking that one raptor for a galli
3 : "oh no the rex stopped roaring"
4 : trying to trap a cera but then ending up stuck instead and getting killed in the end

omg what a childhood memory, i remember specifically you had to kill the trex by hitting it in the eye, but was always was scared to approach it.
3:53 and 4:11 Back-to-back frame-perfect Allo kills, and a triple play to boot. Glorious.

A remake of this for PC and modern consoles would be epic
Absolutely love this game. One of the first video games I ever played. My disk for it barely works any more, though. The sound glitched out, and I can't access the last island. I think I might have to find a copy again.
try getting an emulator and it might work. i won’t say that it will work, i just hope that it works.

I think the original voice announcer is better that the modern one

Great games, this and Carnivores 2. Really underrated games.
You have to try the mods? They really expand the gameplay of this games. I recommend you Carnivores +, Triassic, Far North, The Middle Islands and a favourite of my Jurassic Park Revolution.

It was so hard if I remember right the only way to kill one was to get it in the eye. Been so long though I might be misremembering.

I played this a lot as a kid and one day my dad asked me to take over his game while he went to the bathroom and he didnt tell me he was hunting the trex because there was a stegosaurus i just shot and then i dont know how but the trex didnt make its call before it charges and it literally jump scared me so bad i started crying i was like. 6.
