Agent K's "Imagine what you'll know tomorrow" monologue is one of my favorite scenes in any movie ever. It's so so so good.
read Mark Dice trust me
the "everyone on these screens is an alien" bit includes cameos from George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, this films' director Barry Sonnenfeld, Danny DeVito and Sylvester Stallone.
...I can believe Danny DeVito.
Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones played off each other so well in this, with Jones being completely deadpan.
Yeah I can’t think of two better actors for this movie
"You know what the difference is between you and me? I make this thing look good" One of my absolute favorite lines from this film
Yet you got the quote wrong. lol
One of my fav quotes of all time comes from this movie and it's when K says, "A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals, and you know it." That really stuck with me 20+ years later. It's one of those things that are sad but true. That "herd mentality" thing. You can be so smart, but when you're with others, it can mean a whole other thing.
This film may have been just a big blockbuster hit when it came out, but I think it's also one of the most ingeniously written films of all time.
That screechy table sliding scene was almost painful to listen to in the theater
Fortunately we were all laughing our ass of during.
I was cringing. That noise physically HURTS to hear
Like nails on a chalkboard. Really irritating to the ears.
I love how the two tests were so much more simple than they really were. First test was problem solving. Point wasn't to pass the written test it was to figure out a way to make things easier. Pulling the table over to have a place to write was the solution. The shooting range, all the service members starting blasting away as if it was an marksmenship course. In reality it was attention to detail. There was only one real threat on that street and J drilled her between the eyes.
The written test was meaningless, the real test was about them finding a way to solve it despite the setup of the room.
Also, the cartoon confirms everything J said about Little Tiffany, who in reality is the human disguise of Bug Queen, one of the most dangerous alien criminals living on Earth.
This is why J is ultimately chose, he displays a level of elastic thought the others don't.
I swear this dude came out of his home as an adult and skipped his old childhood and now is watching these movies to make up for it
Vincent D'Onofrio's performance as Edgar the Bug is the high point of the movie, for me. I especially like when he's waiting in the truck outside of the jewelry store and trying to 'act casual.'
I always loved the ending of this movie. Whoever thought of the idea to put galaxies inside of a marble that some giant being is using to play with was such a "mindfck" back in the 90's!
"N! Y! P! D! Means I will 'Nock Your Punkass DOWN!" Will ALWAYS love that line.
I also love the fact that he knew his 3rd grade teacher was an alien beforehand. With me it was my 5th grade english teacher.
People in school thought I was a goth, or gonna blow up the school, but I was MIB.
"It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all."
"...Try it." From personal experience...he's right...
Every time someone say they rather have not loved at all, I bring up that scene from That 70's Show when Eric wished he and Donna never dated after they broke because it hurt too much. An angel was about to grant him his wish except at the very last moment he saw all the the good memories they had together and was going to lose them, ultimately withdrawing his wish.
They missed the opportunity to include David Bowie in their "celebrities that are secretly aliens" running gag.
Not gonna lie that alien newborn is adorable as hell. I would father that alien child
Yeah It's insanely adorable
I remember the VHS of this movie had the music video of Will Smith's Men in Black song as the opener. That was my jam back in the 90's, but damn.
No they just get normal disguises but the bug chose the old fashioned way
Edit: it's more impressive that he skinned him with his clothes still on
Don’t get me wrong, I loved watching the MIB trilogy, but every time with the cockroach scene skinning and eating Edgar’s body while eating chicken is always a bad idea. Especially eating the chicken skin while hearing the scene can turn your stomach.
Happy Late 25th anniversary to this movie, Men in Black! Men in Black was the first successful feature film based on characters appearing in Marvel Comics.
1. Edgar/Bug = Vincent D'onofrio played Gomer Pyle in Full Medal Jacket.
2. Tommy Lee Jones' roommate in college was Al Gore.
3. Tell me this wasn't a fun movie. I dare you.
Holy shit! Pyle! Thank you for this tidbit of information.
I just realized the father of the newborn alien baby plays one of the aliens in Galaxy Quest 🤯
10:10 i love how this shot looks like YOU are looking between the legs
Been thinking how I miss movies like this lately. Super original (even though it says based on the marvel comic...) with good use of practical and computer generated effects. And this was in 1997.
Watch the next two. They are alright. Never.....ever....subject yourself to MIB International.
Already did reactions to them
Wow haven't seen someone slide backwards with Will Smith before. I hope you enjoy it. I am obviously pausing to type but I love this movie.
Its sooo stupid but with the PERFECT buddy comedy duo of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. Its brilliant....and honestly why MIB International wasnt that good because it didn't have these 2 actors playing of each other
The music is composed by Danny Elfman
Theres an entire cartoon series and it is so worth watching
Danny Elfman is the composer of this movie
I don't want to assume you know that Orion's Belt is an actual asterism in the Orion constellation, but that's why it was a kind of a pun.
Directed by Barry Sonnenfeld starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones as two agents who deal with intergalactic threats
I remember watching this in cinemas when I was a kid, such a good movie!
absolutely love this movie one of my favorites
One thing I just can't figure out to this day is how the heck something that big was able to fit into such tight skin. At least when he takes it off, you figure out why he was having so much trouble moving.
i have to state, that i am extensively fond of the questions that you pose during your video segment. perhaps, just perhaps, it will get others to ask themselves the same questions. as for the existence of `foreign life' abounding the universe, there used to be a tv series that aired back in the 1970s called `project u.f.o. that was created by jack webb (the actual sgt. joe friday from a tv series called `dragnet' that you might want to view if you have the time available to you. he also narrates the show.
love the reactions. The word bitch though, the way you use it, is grating.
random observation: Sugar doesn't melt in cool water and it all went to the bottom of glass instead of mixing in it ( i don't think they caught it)
14:04 Galaxies only exist in Hollywood
14:50 Have you ever sat on them? Theyre actually sooooo comfortable. I dont like them for actual driving, but for just sitting theyre fantastic. For driving theyre too slippery, feels like im gonna slide out of my seat.
Like ghostbusters with aliens
We called the guy with the cat "Polly Pocket head " lol
Must see Bad Boys Franchise. Made Will Smith a Star.
How have you not seen all these movies ?? lol. So many classics you haven’t seen
But most if not all his connections in life are already dead except people at work who he cant stand and Visa versa. So not like hes giving anything up really
I watched M.I.B multiple times over the years and it's taken me 20+ years to just now realize the intro to this movie is smuggling in ILLEGAL ALIENS but literally they're looking for an actual ILLEGAL ALIEN 🤦🏿♂️👽...
C'mon.... how the heck has anyone never seen this movie??? it's on TV every frickin' week. Great movie regardless!
Thats because no one watches TV. With less and less people watching all the time.
You still watch tv?
That's how Bugs get human bodies.
Omg memories best movie series in my opinion
Came back after the Rick and Morty reactions......our universe could be a marble...a play thing for an alien!
Here comes the Men in Black...
"Elvis is not dead. He just went home." One of my favorite lines of all time lmfao It took me forever to get it but when I did I lost my mind. so good!
Chris rock isn't dead, he just survived
@@christraiches3943 LMFAO YES 💀💀💀😂😂😂😂😂 you re the best for this
Supposedly there's a fan theory that goes like this.
That since this is a Marvel based series there's a small connection between the Men In Black and Agents of S.H.E.I.D.
Stop. MIB is in its own league. Dont delut it.
Classic movie great reaction
18:36 Aliens are just other humans from other continents in the south (outside) north pole is the center
There is a cartoon mib series and tremors tv series.
The one at the beginning was a fake head.
What’s good! Love the MIB series and enjoy watching your reactions lol, stay up bro! 😎
Thanks man!
This movie made it hard for me to initially accept Hulk from the MCU, but now I have trouble with this one because Hulk is driving the green truck. Probably wouldn't have been a problem if I hadn't watched Avengers in the last week.
I watched this movie it is amazing,I watched the part 2 but i havent watched part 3
Part 3 better than 2
@@crazyape515 yes.
Since u like Will Smith watch Collateral Beauty.
There are two movies based on Greek Mythology you should watch. Jason and the Argonauts from 1962 and 1981 Clash of the Titans
Classic
You need to watch boondock saints
Great Suggestion! Julie Benz was memorable in the sequel, too.
good react
Something I just thought of in this world do humans and aliens marry and if so how would that work out, I mean would you have to register with the MIB or what?
Will Smith vs. Tom Cruise? Who runs better?
Differnt actors skill wise from the movies Tom
Interesting
OMG you need to finish this series the most recent isn't a will smith movie it's the global MIB not the US branch & 2 people you may recall from thor 3 are in it Thor & "Valkerie" that's in quotes cause technically it's not her name it was her job & the rest are all dead now
i figure you thought it would be more serious like in independence day
This is the only one that I own. Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith.
🕴🏻
Gomer Pyle
Ayy you rocking your own merch looks good man
Edit: sick shirt as well
Thanks man
I like the Brazzers parody, Black in Men.
Does he even realise it's supposed to be a comedy ?
hey big shout out to your return welcome back
Fuck yeah again. These are epic
The ones I’ve seen that seem at least not disprovable.. they don’t act like this.. they don’t act… normal… human. Idk
It IS trilogy there is no 4th one period.....
Must be something to watch this and not be from New York, haha. Half the movie is just insider New Yorker jokes.
There was a cartoon of this movie too that was actually pretty good.
@@Ididnotwanttojoin the entire reveal of the two ships that the Bug tried to escape in at the end are a famous landmark in queens here. When the movie first came out the whole audience cheered when they saw it. It certainly doesn’t detract from the film but that extra bit of knowledge and familiarity with New York makes it extra special
The cartoon was awesome and ended too soon
The last suit you'll ever wear? You'll be getting pretty ripe after a couple days. Whew!
"Did you see the way he blinked?"
No. You didn't show that bit. This is you talking through it too much man.
You do know Elvis is dead, right?
international is just shameless that only copy the name and concept. didn't feel anything like original.
Watch the animated series. The sequel movies suck.
Why is it that so many reactors have to yammer on through the movie? They talk non-stop, missing most of the dialogue. How the Hell can they follow the plot?
Disappointing reaction - limited vocabulary, based expectations on a theme park ride - really?!!
