Hello po, pwede po bang makahingi ng explanations (about sa quiz) kung bakit po 'yong some errors are not detected sa pagprepare ng Trial Balance? Salamat po!
It's because a trial balance only ensures that debits and credits are equal. There are cases wherein debits and credits are equal but there are errors. Example: Entries are posted twice. Wrong accounts are used. Entries are made in the wrong accounting period.
Hi sir! Sa question po na: "The total debits as of June 25 is?" Ang gagawin po ba ay i-aadd ang cash balance (debit) sa bawat account na as of June 25 (sa general ledger)? Akala ko po kasi i aadd lang lahat ng debits as of June 25 hehe.
Hi! The question meant total debits for all as of June 25. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I revisited the answer key and I revised accordingly. Apologies.
