Your plane reminds me of a IL-2. You made a flying bathtub (also the most armored seat in game). The Soviet IL-2 has a Bathtub of armor surrounding the pilot.
I wish your guys videos were longer so how bout this Bomber vs fighter U booth get 15-30 mins to build a bomber than another 15-30 mins to build a fighter than say kan gets to try to hit a target with his bomber while kosmo uses his fighter and the round goes until kan hits the target or kosmo takes out kan than kosmo gets in his bomber and kan uses kans fighter and the round goes until kan takes out kosmo or kosmo hits the target

I like these videos, only thing I would like to see different is after your builds, you both should get an extra 10 minutes to test your builds and have last minutes of fine tuning and make small changes, only small changes so your not allowed to completely redesign your builds but can add or remove small things. So you the pro, after seeing cozmo;s design could give some idea's or making his design bit better then you do the challenge
Well you could do dogfight races with one pilot and one gunner, 2v2. Or you could do auto-pilot planes with player gunners, but that would obviously require the planes to be made ahead of time.
You should do a MM where you all build each other's cars but it's not teams, so you try to make a bad car for the other person, but it still has to be functional

ahh some of the last footage of kosmo being the noob, though kan's new noob is much MUCH noobier XD, also funny that in multiplayers kosmo beats kan often lol
You could try tying in the rudder with the steering, but at a much smaller angle. There are some airplanes IRL like the Ercoupe that do just that. If you're feeling bad about not using the rudder, that is. Otherwise, as long as the airplane is relatively stable you can get away with not using rudder. IRL, too, as long as you don't stall the wing, in which case you'll likely spin if you're not using rudder.
I’ve got a suggestion for a game (it’ll probably be chaotic but still), what if you did a “wall climbing spleef game” (same rules would apply, touch the ground and your out, one potato gun, small builds, etc)

NvP idea: Plane with no powered bearings. No smart engineer, no engines in general, but you could use free floating bearings and pistons, one thruster only for propulsion.
kAN the secret to a piston plane, since they have so much torque is to put a big prop on it or a gear ratio. This is how people do things in real life. The more torque a motor has the bigger the prop.
Make micro planes but you have to try and use micro thrusters at full power, seat blocks, and everything else that's bigger than a block except for wings

well... about that, in WW2 fighter designers took to installing what were basically steel bathtubs in the cockpits to protect the pilots.

886 and still going it is hard to find inspiration but do some purely vannila builds with friends it helps

In real life if you want more stability in your plane to make it easier to control stack more wings on top of your wings
