Fushimi Inari is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. There was big summer rain just before we arrived so there wasn't a big crowd around. And rain drops still falling from trees and gates added to special ambient of the place. Really like something from a fairytale.
I know this music, humming along with the tune. So nice to follow you there in this video. It has a therapeutic effect on me. I feel good! Thanks Yuu 😊

Amazing, this was so calming.
Entire trip me and my wife had last summer in Japan was followed by incredible luck. We came in at the end of rain season but rain would stop when ever we arrived into new city. When we were in Tokyo it just happened to be that it was time for Tanabata festival and central festival in Zozoji was basically next to our hotel. We moved are "base of operation" to Kyoto...and what do you know we accidentally got there just in time for Gion. Many other nice little strikes of luck along the way.
Only thing that we again and again lucked out on were imperial palaces. Every time we tried to visit there was something that stopped us.
Your work is exquisite. Thank you for bringing Kyoto, seen by your eyes, to every place in the world.

Yesterday i watched a 1976 russian film,after it i decided to look for another video fron Yuu, found this one. What a wonder! The music in the film was just the same! Different instruments, but the same.

I always see a lot of photos of Kyoto on IG, it must bee a gem! It will be my first place to visit, whenever I'll bee able to travel to Japan.

Loved Kyoto - it was calm, green. [Like your use of Greensleeves as your BGM.] I felt my heart was wide open and my senses could see/hear/feel so much more. Not many places do that, but Kyoto has that effect. Of course, in the summer, it's so very hot! Fall and spring are the wonderful seasons in Japan.
"Greensleeves as your BGM" ! I got so pleasantly surprised at the very 🎶sound of it! He could use some version of "Scarborough Fair" anyday as well. ☘️

Your background music is a Christmas song and the chimes add to the feelin' good Christmas-y vibe. So now, I've associated the vibe with Kyoto. Perhaps it's a good place to visit during the Christmas season. In the Philippines, the season unofficially begins in September, so maybe more Filipinos may be visiting Kyoto soon. Merry Christmas!

@@DavidCruickshank I associate the melody with "What Child is This?" which is set to the tune of Greensleeves. This is usually played around Christmastime in this neck of the woods.
