My exact problem for my 06 Accord EX with 4 cylinder. Was getting that electric arcing sound intermittently and would start and then not start. Swapped this out and no more electric arcing sound at all and cranks right up everytime. First time I've replaced this on the 06 Accord with 197K. Guess we got our money's worth out of it. Great video, straight to the point and easy to follow. Autozone Duralast Part #LS1182 IGNITION SWITCH
Thanks for this video! I'm actively working in this right now step by step on an 04 but can seem to find the other screw on the bottom. Got the plug out and the top screw but this thing won't budge.
Jim, I have a question. I replaced all calipers on my 2010 V6 Accord sedan. I think the calipers they sent me might have had the parking brake springs installed backwards.

Do have to change the keys also or same existing key work on new switch?
Nice one Jim 👍 hopefully it was the customer that replaced the starter and not a shop :)
Actually he did have another shop replace the starter and as you can guess he was not happy. I hope all is well with you.
