I own the whole series ,,before iPod I would go to start marks IN NYC to Venus records and Kims and take my CD player with me and they sold used cds and that how I acquired my music heard this series at Venus records at that time ..thats when we could buy clothes of the side walk and the village was my place .,then life changed mayor goonleanni came and messed that up..yet the music I still have so ill be alright ..also check out cafe Del Mar series ..I read a article Anthony Hopkin was doing a interview and he spoke about it and I bought the whole series over time thats when I need Hannibal lector had good taste in music /// life is sweet 91122... against all ODDS ...LET THE MUSIC TAKE YOUR MIND AND EVERYTHING WILL BE JUST FINE

to echo nearly every other comment: this mix was EVERYthing to me during the summer of 2000 in Australia. and it stayed in rotation since then for every summer since. so many great memories, beach cruises, blunts, beers and good times wrapped up in the warmth of this mix. Mauricio gave us an all-time great in the house pantheon with this one.

I still think these are by far some of the best mixes I’ve ever heard. They’re so versatile and mixed perfectly. They can be played if you want to chill, want to be social, if you want to get up and dance, can be for a formal or informal setting….the list goes on and on. Not many music labels and compilations can pull that off! Naked Music was always for the grown and sexy!

These mixes put me through college and grad school, it reminds me of a sunny hot afternoon looking out the window and seeing palm trees and sunsets….. the music that defines my twenties.
I would repeat 8. Sirus-Big Ben all the time in my car. Though the entire album is gorgeous. I've been in love with Naked Music since 2004. Others tried, but never came close.
And btw Bruno Ybarra one of the 2 founders of Naked Music is the A&R director at iTunes and former jazz journalist lol and a friend the way like Jay Deenes creator of Blue 6 anthems
I have a found memory of this mix. A number of years back, I used to go to a fantastic weekly event in the city (Boston) called “Chrome”. This weekly was hosted by some of the best DJs in the city whom I worked with at a local record store. Guest DJs local and international would stop by. This one particular night I stopped by there i had the pleasure of listening to Sharam from Deep Dish. It was one the best sets I’ve heard in recent memory. After the night was done and on my way home I put this CD in. Having just bought it I really wanted to give it a good listen. It was a beautiful summer night. The windows where down and I drove around until the CD played all the way through.
@@MeNatalieMarie It was amazing. I had no idea he was playing that night. I got to hang out with him and his girlfriend at the time, in the booth. Also they're was about 80 people in the club that night, so it was quite intimate.
Just after 6:10...we flies away :-)....and 35 min in this mix you close your eyes and turn your head from right to left and just get that feeling....and at the end when Lisa sings "Always" you pass out !!
