I introduced my 18 year old, very talented (he's had his own band since he was 15!), musician nephew to this album this evening. The reaction was joyful - for both of us. I got to show a youngster I love an respect and who knows more about every kind of music that's ever existed than I ever could (he's about to start his degree in music) - but who gravitates towards hard metal in all its forms for some reason - an album that I love so much because of its perfect - authentic, beautiful - balance of reggae, rap, poetry, and conscience. It's very special. I was blessed by the genuine joy he felt and expressed in his reaction to the tracks he heard after dinner. And that's my joy right there.
