I have been using this setup for several weeks now and it’s solid! Glad you found the video and found it helpful. Are there any videos on any topic you’d like to see next?
So I would love to to connect with you. Me personally, I would love to watch you timecode a song on propresenter going through the steps of getting it ready for playback. Make sense? Also I love your videos on the pixel mapping. We use LED strip lighting for accent design around the video wall. I want to figure out how to incorporate the pixel strips to be an extension of what is displayed on thr video wall. Make sense?
Great and insightful video. I'm curious if you've had any hands on experience with ATEM software and MIDI control. I am currently controlling my ATEM software from Ableton. The set up is Ableton midi cues > Osculator > ATEM OSC... it's a lot of steps but works well. I'm wondering if there's any way to connect Pro7 to ATEM software for MIDI control?
I have messed with controlling ATEM with Midi, but I don't regularly do it. If you already have it working with Ableton then Pro7 shouldn't be a big deal. Create a new Midi device in Pro7, and send Midi Data towards OSCulator. I might be missing something, send me an email if you'd like to talk more. Link in video description.
Hello, do you know how to setup the midi section to be able to control a PTZ from within PP7? I already have LightKey setup to run from PP7 and I’ve created macros to help. My concern is that be controlling my PTZ from PP7 is that I screw up the midi notes in PP7.
That could work actually. If the PTZ camera location Presets can be controlled via MIDI, then you could create a Macro in Pro7 called "PTZ: Location 1" or something, and add a Midi Communication action to it, that is whatever Midi Note you setup in the Control Software. You also need to go into Pro7 Preferences -> Devices, and somehow setup a link to the controller. If you email me some photos of your hardware I might be able to help more. Sorry if slightly off topic.
