    How incredible would it be if your lyrics for your songs were perfectly in sync every time? What if you could do the work once, and have your ProPresenter cues happen perfectly every time you play the song? Imagine being able to jump anywhere in your song, and the lyrics follow. All of that and more is possible when you use the MIDI Module for ProPresenter and Ableton Live. Using the free MIDI cues I’ve created you’ll save you hours of time, and you can quickly program your songs in Ableton, and have perfect lyrics-every time.
    If you aren’t familiar with ProPresenter it’s a lyric projection software (think Keynote +) that is commonly used by churches to show lyrics during worship services. Using the MIDI Module allows anyone small church, big church, cover band to have lyrics that are perfectly in sync.
    It’s been 6 years since I did my original video for ProPresenter 5. Since that original video, I’ve released countless other ProPresenter and Ableton tutorials that have been viewed over 200,000 times. The free ProPresenter 5 file I created has been downloaded over 15,000 times. I’ve taught at conferences across the globe and trained churches worldwide on how to improve the freedom, flexibility and production quality of their services using this technique. This video is a brand new look at the entire process in ProPresenter 6.

    Thanks, Will, for all you do to help us. I would love to know how to do this, step-by-step as you do so well, from PC to PC. Blessings!

      Thanks for the kind words Richard! Unfortunately, the MIDI module isn't available for PC, so you have to use a Mac for ProPresenter or convert MIDI to key strokes-but you lose a lot of the preset options available with ProP's MIDI Module.

    I have a question. Right now I am triggering both ProPresenter and DMXIS for lights from my computer via IAC drivers. I have been running wireless and desperately would like to run wired ethernet. Can I still control both programs via one ethernet cable? would I still need to utilize the IAC drivers? Any Help would be appreciated!

      Hi Jasmine, great question! #1 Don’t use the IAC driver if you’re controlling another computer, use Network MIDI. #2 Because of the way ProPresenter handles MIDI Channels, you’ll want to create a separate Network session for ProPresenter and any other apps you’re controlling. #3 I’m assuming you’re running DMXIS on your Ableton machine so no need for IAC or Network MIDI for that one. Hope that helps!

      Hi Joshua-that’s a great question! You can make additional cues and increase the velocity. I also offer the full cues for subscribers

    hey! thanks for doing all this! I was curious, when I open midi studio there isn't an icon for "network" but I can access the network from the top of the midi studio tab...Is that the same thing?

    • @fromstudiotostage
      @fromstudiotostage  5 років тому

      That's right.. On Mojave- you can use the icon or use the MIDI Studio>Open MIDI Network Setup...menu option.
